Didnt see this added to the thread: Warzone was recently added to the catalogue on Desura (about 4 weeks ago) - hopefully other sites like GoG might pick it up too

Hi, I am new to this forum but not new to warzone.
Yesterday I tried the 3.1Beta 4. First impressions are awesome.
I do own a German Blog which I am using for personal stuff and private reviews about linux and multiplattform games.
2 Years ago I already wrote an article abount warzone2100. I fell its time for a new one.
In Germany there is a strong linux gamer community that is always interessted in good strategic games.

I looked for war zone on the web and I found this site . I had previously tried to install the game using the original CDs .The downloadable version runs very well and I am glad to be able to play it . In my opinion it still has more depth than many current strategy games . If there were a new retail version on console or PC I would buy it .

Just wanted to let you guys know that WZ2100 still reaches out and snags veteran RTS players who grow tired of StarCraft 2 and were looking for a nostalgia kick. ^_^

I already have the first edition pretty much complete, and a good chunk of work on a second edition, but need to have a think about the future before investing more time in it...

Just wondering but with steam now accepting F2P games what is the terms to get listed on there? Would it be a good idea to perhaps get onto steam F2P list once we have everything updated?

if you want to make the game more popular through the matches online, forget it, this game is bound to end, >> again <<
