Re: Wmit
Unfortunately I'm pretty sure that is not the latest version and it lacks some features...
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/66915681/WMIT-updated.zip that is the one I have, not sure if it's the latest either

Maybe WMIT should have a dedicated thread that is pinned in the ART Forum which, among other opportuities, could follow the development example set by Flail's FlaME with its iteration downloads announced and made available where artists gravitate naturally. Just a thought.

Re: Wmit
Yes, I would also like an official WMIT thread with download links & instructions/help in the artwork forum. Would make starting out much easier for newbies.
I understand though that the WMIT developers would get an extra workload from people complaining about how this & that doesn't work, since it is alpha software. If there is an official thread, people will somehow expect that it is a finished product.

That's understandable. Part of the creator's prerogative as well.Jorzi wrote:...

Then there is this apt thought so beautifully expressed by Allen Shawn:
…
“A species in which everyone was General Patton would not succeed, any more than would a race in which everyone was Vincent van Gogh. I prefer to think that the planet needs athletes, philosophers, sex symbols, painters, scientists; it needs the warmhearted, the hardhearted, the coldhearted, and the weakhearted. It needs those who can devote their lives to studying how many droplets of water are secreted by the salivary glands of dogs under which circumstances, and it needs those who can capture the passing impression of cherry blossoms in a fourteen-syllable poem or devote twenty-five pages to the dissection of a small boy’s feelings as he lies in bed in the dark waiting for his mother to kiss him goodnight…. Indeed the presence of outstanding strengths presupposes that energy needed in other areas has been channeled away from them.”
