I got a Question: Is there a possibility that the damage of tanks in Vers. 2.3.4 is like in Vers. 1.10 (the Original one)?
The tanks in Vers. 2.3.4 will be destroyed by soldiers in a few seconds in Level one.
I am not sure i get what you mean. The balance of the weapons in 2.3.4 (2.3.5 rc4 the current release though) are definitly not the same as in 1.10. And if your tanks are getting destroyed by cyborgs quickly you probably should check what you use and what the enemy uses and see the modifiers given in the turret section/table in the guide.
Quick solution is: use mg tanks (best would be tracked, halftracked) to kill cyborgs(mg, flamer), use mg cyborgs to kill cyborgs too (cannon, lancer borgs). If that does not help you are either heavily outnumbered or having some other issues.

I think he was referring to the campaign, specifically the Campaign Scavenger Infantry. Since reinstalling (Mac version) I've noticed that either the Scavengers are kicking out a hell of a lot more damage, or your units simply cannot take as much. Is this a bug, or a balance change?

As far as I know, this is a bug. There have been very few changes to campaign balance.
Yes, I also noticed that the scavs were pretty good att blowing up my early tanks, but I only thougt it was because I set the difficulty to hard. However, I only found it a refreshing challenge. Scavengers were worthless earlier anyway
