Maybe this can be changed to something like alt+mouse1/2 ? Or am I just to stupid to see that option?

Inverted mouse buttons
It's really nice that you can invert the mouse buttons for a more Blizzard like control scheme (right click to order), but it gets really annoying that the turning of the camera is also the right mouse button

Re: Inverted mouse buttons
Rotation of the screen happens too often for it to be something like that.
Remember, Warzone is a true 3D game; being able to see things from other angles is important.
Re: Inverted mouse buttons
Really? I don't seem to use it at all...
Never the less, as long as this is the case inverting the mouse buttons is pretty much useless as every third time you want to place an order it will just mess with the rotation.
But in fact right mouse click order is nowadays the defacto standard in RTS, so it would be really nice if a solution was found. Maybe it is possible to make it just customizable so that everyone can cofigure it like he prefers it?

Re: Inverted mouse buttons
I dunno. I've never had a problem accidentally rotating. I guess I can change it to MMB/bothbuttons.
Re: Inverted mouse buttons
Yep that sounds like a good solution, thanks!

Re: Inverted mouse buttons
umm. i thought recent iterations of WZ let you RMB to issue commands. i'm pretty sure i've been setting my options to do just that for a while now.

Re: Inverted mouse buttons
Just don't force it, my mouse has side to side scrolling so the mmb doesn't read clicks, just scrolling.
In general, if you see glowing, pulsating things in the game, you should click on them.

Hence "bothbuttons" - holding down both buttons to rotate is still an alternate method.milo christiansen wrote:Just don't force it, my mouse has side to side scrolling so the mmb doesn't read clicks, just scrolling.
Although I'd need some way to prevent the individual click events from firing... Seems complicated.
How's about alt+LMB as well as MMB? Shift/Ctrl+LMB is taken by drag-selection.

Re: Inverted mouse buttons
space-bar while no units are selected? maybe not, that could be a little restrictive (deselecting, waving the mouse, reselcting, repeat).
Re: Inverted mouse buttons
I think that it should stay at LMB.
Re: Inverted mouse buttons
Ermm do you even play the game? It is not and never was LMB AFAIK :p13KukYNexus666 wrote:I think that it should stay at LMB.
The problem is that it is RMB and that interferes mit the alternative control mechanism using RMB for commands.
Ich should stay RMB if you use LMB fpr commands (Warzone standard) but if you switch to RMB command (Warcraft standard) it has to be something else.
Re: Inverted mouse buttons
I mixed L and R. I meant RMB.
