Difference between the premier collection and original

My old copy of warzone 2100 says it is part of the "premier collection", does anyone know what is so different about it compared with the original? It came with two disks, where the second one was for another player to be able to play multiplayer with you.

i have the premier collection too, and i would say that it is only a (lacking the word) "recreating for marketing to get some more copies sold"... (comprehensible? )

but:
cd2 is not for a second player, it's for the campaign

content on disc2:
1 folder "sequences" with many many RPLs
nothing more...

Hmm, that's odd, whenever I play with disc one I get all the video, but when I use disc 2 it comes up with video sequence missing.

Disc 1 is Cam 1 and the final battle.
Disc 2 is Cam 2 and Cam 3 except the final battle.
Either one can be used for multiplayer.

Ah, that explains some things, although it's odd that the campaigns would be split like that.
I always wondered why I could never see the collective's videos.
I really should try to find the instruction manual, but I last saw it about 7 years ago. :-S

Hi - Sorry to necropost, but I'm searching for info on Warzone releases and have drawn a blank on the "Premier Collection" box set.

Could anyone with this edition let me know:

* What was the release date
* What country was it released in
* What was in the box

I have some images of the box, a jewel case and disc (only one disc) - they are all mostly black. Does this sound like what you have?

First, never heard of a premier set.. The only two I saw was the original release for windows in 1999 (your source is wrong on this) and a rerelease for windows that was a dual pack I found that included both Warzone2100 (original box) and Total Annihilation (also original box art).

And either moby corrected that date you list (2001) or you looked at the wrong date as it states

The last unknown is the game discs, manual, and cardboard cd holder from the 1999 release.

*edit* There was a third disk in the retail box (not shown) that included several Eidos game demos. I'm pretty sure it was in the retail release as well as the dual pack I bought (I just opened one of the dual packs recently so I can say 100% it was in there)

I don't have enough posts to send messages yet,
But I have the OPM Demo Disc 19 AND a copy of the US PS1 Warzone 2100 with the manual and stuff. I saw the demo disc, but didn't see the game itself on your site.
