CB Towers detect incoming indirect-fire (mortars, artillery, etc) munitions and will direct your own indirect-fire weapons to return fire at their weapons.

It definitely is affected by obstructions like terrain. To be exact, it acts as a combined sensor/cb/vtol-strike/vtol-cb with a very long range.Skrim wrote:Wide Spectrum Sensor

Re: For what can i use ...
I just tested it in a Skirmish.
The Wide Spectrum Sensor locks on to the location of any structure or unit you know of, regardless of the sensor unit's own location.
Whereas a regular Sensor Turret unit will drive all the way until it personally gets a direct lock on the said target.
That's what I mean by "Non Line-of-Sight". I could post a screenshot of a Wide Spectrum Sensor locking a target straight through a mountain while a regular Sensor Turret vehicle tries to drive around the mountain.
For things whose location is not present on the mini-map(i.e, not known), it is just a long-ranged combo sensor. For anything that is shown on your mini-map, like a known enemy structure or a unit being seen by one of your units/structures, it can lock on without moving.
