running latest stable release and beta 5, though i havent been able to finish a game yet on beta 5, constantly crashes and dumps me to desktop.

need to learn what info to post so you guys can see what the issue is

look in the warzone 2100 folder and see if there is text files in there - cant remember the names... it may report what the error/s are...

you dont say if your getting windows error dialog boxes ... what if any do they say.

the more information you provide the better.

That, and its probably best to have an up to date trunk version as well, if you don’t already. That will at least allow the developers and other community members help out with crashing problems even more. That way, there will be less crashes for everyone, and game play can go on with out the paranoia of being dumped onto the desktop.

you need to vote for it - as well as everyone else - and i think if you have a look , i think it was already done or they tried and it was ignored.


now as i have stated elsewhere - hamachi is loads better and it tunnels through most firewalls and i know for a fact it handles 8 players - all you have to do is answer the questions when installing it.
