e3demo finally removed??
Hey per, did my removal commit remind you that it was still there in this project??
Re: e3demo finally removed??
Someone had the e3demo? did it have any unique files in - screenshots, artwork, etc? Or maybe music that wasn't in the released version?

I don't think anyone knew you had a repo. Where is it ?Lord Apocalypse wrote:Hey per, did my removal commit remind you that it was still there in this project??
The E3 demo was just some extra stuff in the code base to do automated things so people can see what Warzone is all about.aubergine wrote:Someone had the e3demo? did it have any unique files in - screenshots, artwork, etc? Or maybe music that wasn't in the released version?
AFAIK, everything in that demo is what we have now.

Re: e3demo finally removed??
The e3demo.c/h files were even more bare bones than the two release demos. I think it was just to show off the terrain renderer and a few other things. Not really functional at all.

No, sorry, I was not aware that you had an active public repo up... I was messing around with the warcam code, noticed the E3 demo stuff, and that it did not work anymore.Lord Apocalypse wrote:Hey per, did my removal commit remind you that it was still there in this project??

Didn't see those before...
1.10 ? Hmm, that is a bit too old for my blood. I would rather see something a bit after that, but a bit before 2.0.
(So, it works on windows & linux, and uses openGL)

With the new stuff being added to JS API for camera moves, etc., should a new demo be desired it could be scripted in JS.

Re: e3demo finally removed??
I just finished changing about the cheats (no more xor) and organizing keybind so I can tell whats a cheat, debug, unknown/dead, and std keymp stuff. Once I get a new config setup to replace the registry I will start on getting opengl into the code.
I started at 1.10a and I'm working up to 2.0 but beyond that i don't think there will be a lot in common.
