Few beta4 bugs.

Few bug that I found in beta4 after couple MP games:
1 - Lobby host name gliche.

I was hosting that game lol! it was supposed to be called doom by the way.
Also I had the same lobby bug - it looked like LOTS of player was in the game. Imagine if we could have a game like that someday... 16.5millions vs 16.5millions of players. Funny! xD


About bugs, I was having a 1v1v1 FFA in multiplayer with elio and suicideidiot. We remained in two, then I went to attack elio's base. But before I got there, I found out that a consistent group of MY units was attacking without recieving ANY order. They even produced themselves because I didn't even design those units (mini rockets arty viper wheels... when I could had heavy bodies and scourge). They moved around and attacked without receiving any order.
That was really strange, I immediately thought of Nexus.

It was Nexus that was taking control of my units!

We are going to need better resistance circuits. :stare:

Heh, just think if we still had the same interface with those 16.5 million people. O_O
I think we would run out of colors for flags. :D lol

The smoked units are known, and there is a fix, but...not in svn.

The AI taking over your units:
I have seen it happen, but I can't replicate it all the time.

would this happen to be the 2v2 game we had a few days ago?
yeah, what a game of warzone, 16.5 million v 16.5 million
but it does look silly, and should be fixed :P

Not a bug, a feature. (no, really!)

You can direct your chat-messages to single players by writing that player's number as the first character of your chat message. At least that's what I think it is.

I'm not about prefix " (private) ", its about extended chars that uppers in your string like "zero" in the beginning. (too bad that I got only one exemple)

Well, that isn't a bug either. If you type "0123456 BOO" you will see '(private)0123456 BOO'.
Why? Because it didn't get stripped out.

I guess it could be done.

OK, ok, fine! I fixed it. :P

Hope your happy... as soon as Kamaze or whoever wakes up, and runs the new master server code, it will be fixed.

Well I think Private massages should be just another color in consol & to cut off that index "(private)".

And what color would you use? We already have team color coded text available.
White is normal, yellow & red are used for team color coded text.
(hit shift-tab I think it is to turn on/off)

Personally, I'm against mixing color-coding into this. I would prefer the indicator not to take (that much) space, however.

I can think of two proposals to solve this:

1) use italics for private messages,
2) use just "(p)" or "(*)" indicators. "(private)" is way too long.
