ok - i forgot that in the earlier days we didnt have to include the  filename.addon.lev  - we just needed the filename.wz.

i have rectified the problem and have replaced the old file with a total new file... again read the readme.

thanks for reminding me.

;D

redownload to get the fresh file.  thanks

I know I'm a little late but in this cool map gave me another idea. Does wz have a particle rendering system anywere? Like smoke, fog.... things like that? I believe its 2d side spin sprite based am I wrong? Anyways if it doesn't it would be too late to add a particle system but that would have been really neat add on to your map lav... Perhaps using the sprites would serve the same purpose (smoke, and possibly sound effects to go with it...)

WZ has a particle system. Look at the fireworks or the exploding vehicles.

I didn't think of that! I'll take your word for it but I've seen some really good things done with sprites that could fool you. I originally hocked up the fire works to be sprites, the vehicles, never thought about em. So do you think that fog layers, smoke, dust ect is possible in WZ? We'd have to use smaller particles than the fireworks not to mention 100x the number. How do you think it would affect frame rates or the engine?

Sorry lav, didn't mean to take your post... We can cover this in PM if you'd like Dev...

I did never benchmark the particle system. If anyone likes to: Have a go.
This is currently absolutely low priority, so don't expect me to have a look at this soon.

Of course not, just figured it was an option for the future... Dont you guys have like a check list of tasks that you can put this stuff on at Gna! and prioritize it? Even though most of the stuff we're asking for in the wish list is low priority to you guys I would still like it to be listed somewhere down the line. I wouldn't want it to get lost in the massive amount of posting that goes on. I noticed that you guys have your hands full already and it seems like it would be hard to keep track of everything going in a million directions at once. Thats all...

The Gna task list is not used anymore by anyone, afaik.
We're currently having a discussion where these ideas should be summarised. I'll report back with an answer.

Hey there,

I'm assuming that something in the release of WZ has been changed since this map (and the readme) where made, coz that tileset isn't working when I'm following the instructions. Is it just me, or has the way new tilesets are installed changed since the above date?

Thanks,

~Ang

PS; Sorry for the thread necromancy. I had to get out my book of the dead for this specifically...

"I'll report back"... A good idea is to write it into the wiki... "wishlist" is the page of the name if I am not mistaken.

What can you tell them about the type of volcano they have, the magma in the volcano and the type of eruption? You are a volcano scientist investigating an eruption. You observwe that the eruption has been going on for weeks and the lava slowly flows very far from the crater. The eruption is not very violent, and very little ash is ejected. Poeple who live in the erea want to kniow if there will be a massive eruption in the future.
