Scavenger Mod V1.1 ALPHA Released!

There's my Scavenger Mod for Warzone 2100.

Description: The Scavenger Mod is in ALPHA phase, it's not finished yet and maybe contain a few bugs.

If possible, give me hints and tips to improve the mod. Comments and constructive criticism is welcome!

Some it's features:

-New Scavenger bodies: Trike, Buggy, Rocket, Buggy, Jeep, Rocket Jeep, Camper, Pick Up, School Bus, Fire Truck, Truck, Tanker
-New Scavenger AI
-Renamed most of weapons available.
-Scavenger style structures added!
-Wheeled and Hover are only your available propulsions
-There's an unique Helicopter design, just change it's weapon, don't change it's propulsion or it will lose it's flying ability and be carefull to do not delete the helicopter design.

Note by elio: attachment removed by request because V1.1 Alpha has been released.

Installing:

-Put the mod in "Warzone 2100/mods/multiplay"

-Create a WZ shortcut on your desktop, right mouse click on it and choose "properties". In "target", you should add --mod_mp Scavenger_Mod_V1.0_Alpha.wz on it.

-It will be something like this: "C:\Program files\Warzone 2100\warzone2100.exe" --mod_mp Scavenger_Mod_V1.0_Alpha.wz

Now run the mod and get ready for a Scavenger fight!

And here is a tiny patch for trunk to allow muzzle flashes to fire from different weapon connectors (if there is more than one in weapon .pie file) in case of burst shot. My rkjeep is ready for this feature :P and i can also modify other missile weapons for this (i've checked every weapon pie and currently they are single-connector).

I tested it and I got a crash to deskptop everytime after around 5-10 minutes, playing randomly. All stderr.txt's contain the same, so here's the last one:

In this case I had scav-gunners running for a bunker, but like I said, I played different everytime. So I think it's a bigger problem. ;)

I have also noticed that after about 10 miniutes of play, the game crashes to desktop, this is too bad, as I really like the mod...it is way better than the simple version I was making. :D

i love the mod except that it crashes as soon as unit v unit combat occurs. updates?

Download DyDo-AI for Warzone skirmish/multiplayer games.
Download A2C-HM (Alpha 2 Campaign - Hard Mode).
Download A3C-HM (Alpha 3 Campaign - Hard Mode).

You're right, i just missed the rest of the AIs, i'll release the V1.1 Alpha with this fix.

V1.1 Alpha of the Scavenger Mod, it's just a minor fix, the rest is all the same:

ChangeLog:

- Updated the rest of AIs that i forgot in V1.0 Alpha
- Changed the Scavenger Mod license to CC0 (Public Domain)

I have the same problem. But my stderr file contains way more details than that. Something about a missing imd.
