I guess we'd need to use https://code.google.com/p/unsis/ instead.

I personally would aviod using any kind of download manager, also, from experience from another site (morrowind overhaul) that google chrome can also mess up downloads

I would keep to using FF and IE, and certainly don't use download managers, they do have a very bad habit of messing up downloads

just my two cents

Maybe we should just call it "Manual" though, it's not really very "quick".

after reading it, I would agree, but you still need internet access to gain most of the knowledge from the thing, as there are a lot of hyper links to this site, but still, I would still class the file as a manual, not a quick start guide

Congrats on the new release. I'm Glad to see this project is still going.

Although I'm not active in multiplayer due to being awful at playing RTS games online, I have played through the single player campaign. It was a nice nostalgia trip, and I was pleasantly surprised that aspects of the game still hold up after all these years.

A quibble. It's just bloody good to see a decent QS/manual available to those who don't have the original release. I had thought a number of times of creating a digital copy of the original manual, but chickened out at the amount of work involved.

Who created the QS? Should get at least a round of applause.

Bad news. The fault with the 1.10 remains. Reload a saved game and you're stuck with the trunk's research list, rather than the original 1.10 research list.

So, back to 236, after all...

Is that with a game started from 2.3.8? The mod changed between versions, so savegames are probably not compatible. If it happens with a game started in 2.3.8, please put detailed instructions on how to reproduce it into your ticket.

Edit: You could also try to use the 1.10 mod from 2.3.6 in 2.3.8 and see if that fixes the issue.
