Neat.

A huge advance over Forum Threads, I dare say.
A form of groupware that has room to evolve as well.
I'm thinking in particular of a commercial piece of software I've been using for a few years called
BrainEKP, TheBrain's Enterprise Knowledge Platform which has some features that I think would come in really handy as the Idea Torrent accumulates-aggregates it's repository of ideas and solutions.

Should we repost the ideas we gave here on the forum to the torrent now?

I think we should, but make sure that it's a really good idea .

Interesting, I've never seen that before. Just voted on some of the ideas.

Do ideas get removed if they are poorly worded, or stupid? I posted three of them yesterday at about this time in a sleep deprived stuper.... but i only see one now, and i think its worded differently.

Hmmm.. Are you talking about the comment that you made on
http://sourceforge.net/apps/ideatorrent ... nt/idea/4/
We, the end users, ARE THE TESTING CREW!
Our bug reports are what they rely on so they don't have to replay the same thing over and over again to a nauseating degree until despising the development process. Because face it, if the devs stop enjoying what they do, then there are no more feature OR bug fixes.
If you want a 'rock solid' release each and every time a new feature is added, open your wallet and start paying play tester salaries, because that is what it would take.
You are getting an amazing game for free. Try to be part of the development process, and enjoy doing some small things to help this wonderful game move forward.

That comment stuck... yes, but i posted the "Solution #2: Play the game... submit bug reports." idea and it is worded slightly differently that what i posted, I'm not complaining about the change in wording... it is written much more eloquently now.
But i posted 2 other alternate solutions, i don't see them anymore...
one was to the "Repair droids assigned to commanders do not do useful things."
the other was "transport, tank"
If they got removed because they were poorly worded i can refine my idea a little more and type them again, that does not bother me... or if they got canned because i edited them to many times or something i wouldn't mid typing them again either... but if they were just stupid, i would like to be told so.
If no one knows i will just try to type them again.

They were flagged as duplicates and merged.
Basically, of the three ideas you posted, two of them were identical to ideas that were already there.

If this is official, shouldn't we add an Idea Torrent link in the Development section on the main site?

On the Warzone IRC channel you can find me hanging out with the BDC dudes or messing with the bot.

Okay, I added a link in Development, as well as in the forum description.

Is it normal for sourceforge to log me out every time I change a page?

In general, if you see glowing, pulsating things in the game, you should click on them.
