Super, w końcu wyszła nowa wersja stabilna, zaraz pobieram do testowania i was też do tego zachęcam

damn, just found something with the commander fix, its not fixed, not fully, as none combat units get assigned to commanders regardless of if the commander has a factory assigned to the commander or not, this alternates between the different commanders that you have, I never tested adding new units, only tested with existing units, I have updated the ticket, and not sure how to reopen this, as its not fully fixed

game runs silky smooth unlike other versions of warzone that are pushed by some people.

first lan game lasted 4 hours hours with 5 people and 5 bots and no hiccups!

so 2.3.9 is now dead ? okey

@themac: Chat commands with NullBot require Warzone 3.2 or above (the chat API is not implemented in WZ 3.1).

Oh and excuse me! Congratulations on the release... I was starting to get worried thinking I was getting a bit too old to enjoy computer games anymore, everything I was trying was just boring me... but then I found my old flame, wz2100! Thank you so much to all those who made this happen.

Just compiled it in Ubuntu 12.10 and works just fine!

By popular request, we have built portable versions of Warzone 2100 3.1.0.

They are available at the normal download location: https://sourceforge.net/projects/warzon ... /releases/

warzone2100-3.1.0.exe : Windows installer version (allows you to download the videos)
Warzone2100-3.1.0-portable.exe : Windows *portable* version, self contained, no install required!
Warzone2100-3.1.0-vids-portable.exe : Windows *portable* version with videos, self contained, no install required!

This is a trial to see if people like these builds better than the installer version.

There is a special program included in the portable versions, it is called Warzone 2100 Shortcut Creator.exe
And as you might have guessed, it creates a shortcut to Warzone 2100 3.1.0 in the directory it was installed in.

Once that shortcut has been made, you just always use that to launch the program with.
All it does is add --configdir=.\ to Warzone, so all maps / savegames / configuration files are all contained in the same directory where you unpacked it in.

This means you can install it on a USB thumb drive, run the shortcut creator, and you can take the game anyplace you want!
