Tought twin MGs with cobra might suffer to the scavengers. Scavengers not there, certainly would be enough. I find AI only really works 2 v 1.

What exactly are you playing these maps on? Scavs on/off bases, no bases etc? I just played Twinnyhill, low power, no bases, scavs on AI on hardest. Put up a few MG bunkers to protect derricks, researched medium cannon as fast as possible along with power upgrades. Upgraded cannons/vehicle bodies wh...

The game allows research of depleted uranium bullets though. These can certainly pierce an awful lot of armour!

AI cyborgs really suffer to howitzers.
Heavy AI cannons coming late game, should be easily countered by scourge rockets. Even on hardest, the AI is not really difficult 1 vs 1.

Heavy tanks, especially tracked heavy body cannons, will DESTROY towers and hardpoints, but, they can be stopped. If you opponent keeps sending this, you can counter. They are very slow tanks and anti-tank missiles from the air and hover vehicles can do damage to them while they are on the way. Late...

3.0 versions are running really slowly for me, sometimes even crashing (just becoming so slow that they are stopped, or keep on pausing for little bits). Maybe could there be a release without the new textures, or for the game to be made to run more efficiently? With 2.2 Ghz and 2G RAM, I don't thin...

You can just give the player a few units on the map to start with and one truck that is right in the middle of enemy base? Then you would not get mission failed and there is one less thing to worry about scripting.
