This would be an excellent idea if it was also used for the nimble ground vehicles as well, but for this to work you first need actual collision physics instead of a dice roll for hit calculation . Otherwise there is no point in maneuvering around in 3D space, as nothing is actually being simulated...

What about a similar problem with the ranks? It happened to me a few times in all versions of warzone so far. A unit reaches say, hero rank at the end of a mission. After i finish that mission and proceed to the next one, the rank of the hero unit sometimes gets downgraded <.< It doesn't happen on ...

ANy ideas? No. Why? You did not tell us anything that would enable us to help you. At least you should tell us which version of Warzone 2100 you have downloaded. Additional information on the system specifications of your friend's PC is necessary, too. So.. --> CPU (32bit/64bit), RAM, Graphics card...

No, I do not use Vista.

This is a known bug and it has been reported more than a year ago by me. It is a bug with low priority as the save-game format will be redone in the future.

Not sure here, but I think Troman did work on the AI-stuff and changed things so he could do what he wanted with Aivolution. That's why I think that it does not work with 2.0.x.

Which version? Which OSes? How does the network-setup look like?

Long ago (2003-10-08 :X) I made a list (in German..) that contained information on every map in the warzone.wdg (for every mapXX-directory) (scroll a bit down to see the listing). I could translate this into English, if you want.
