What res do you play ?
WZ never had a UI that can resize itself for high resolution screens.
Got any screenshots ?

Usually, the binary blobs are 100x better than mesa in terms of speed, and them working.
I would also try those, unless you are 'lucky' enough to own a intel chipset...

Re: Where is the Mailing List?
G'day all, just hoping sum1 can direct me to where i can download the wdgload app, as wdg explorer dont work on my comp. Ta That program was on our ML, located on GNA, but I don't think the links to it still work. Qamly was the one who wrote that, and, AFAIK, he is gone. Which maps do you need conv...

Re: Key mapping help- Alpha version
I don't think you can do that without changing the source code.Marsala wrote:I was wondering if it was at all possible to move the keys assigned to map movement from the directional keys to WASD. I have been trying to do it and I can't seem to figure it out. Please help.

Re: Multiplayer problem
Over the weekend my son and I were going to have a little multiplayer Warzone session. For some reason though I couldn't get it to work. The guest PC just couldn't/wouldn't see the host PC. It couldn't have been the LAN 'cos all other games worked fine, just Warzone. Both PC's running Windows 7 Ult...

Re: reporting on the mailing list and the frustration it cau
As an aside, is this the cause of the problem with 1.10 mod save games in v237 onwards? As mentioned in the ticket, I'm not sure what happened in 2.3.7, since I couldn't get the 1.10 mod to work there. In 2.3.8, the map-mod support somehow broke loading a savegame with mod. :stressed: Another day i...

Hmm ?NRoach44 wrote:Again, where do I get them, and what (in moderately simple terms) do I do with them?
You pull down Qt, and all the Qt dev related stuff. Same as with any other lib you are using.

Re: Please help me with hosting Multiplayer games?
Hi WZ friends, I've been playing a few months now and go (mostly) by the name Playa. I'd love to host my own games, but for the life of me cannot figure out how. I am on a macbook OSX - 10.6.7 - and have a great internet connection now. I use the Mac Timecapsule for wireless connectivity (is that m...

Re: Script porting to Javascript
That would break everything, so all scripts would need to be rewritten, and that isn't a small task. Note that this thread is about javascripts ... in which case you'd have to rewrite stuff anyway. But that approach requires us to rewrite *everything*, not just a few scripts. I rather port stuff 'a...

Re: Script porting to Javascript
Tile coords are MUCH MUCH simpler for scripters to use compared to world coords, and for some functions there is no obvious reason to use world coords. Most of the time I find my self just doing tile coords * 128 but if the functions were made to use tile coords.... Interesting. Anyone of a differe...
