Can't some shaders be baked to texture when there is no need for that? that's why I'm asking. Adding 2 more sets of textures will raise just requirements of hdd space... but who cares about this in 2020? On the other hand, it's not a progressive way to develop games. How should we handle this stuff in armod? make different textures for each terrain tileset or make universal texture and later (probably) add shaders that will add extra effects like snow, sand, wet materials?

Yeah, trying to improvise when can't google pics for reference. Also, original model hides some interesting details visible only at right view angle, I talk about boxes of ventilation system.
UPD: I'm always open to new ideas. That's why I post work-in-progress first.

At least you could keep self-shadowing for animated parts. Using one texture is a good idea but then there should be support of sub-object materials to use 2 different textures of each type in one model. Or just allow to every mesh (level) has its own set of textures. Another way could be splitting ...

no. the newest and only true version can be downloaded only from wz2100.netI've been using the Stream version, which I assume is the newest build.

I agree with Moltengear, leveling the terrain for big buildings is logical. Also it's the easiest way to use flat baseplates. It already works and everybody's happy. As for deep foundations, they should be created for defensive buildings, at least one for each type(for variety) because defensive tur...
