Build Orders
Is there such as thing in WZ? A build order (or "build" for short) is an early game strategy that is designed to optimize economy and timing. A build indicates an order in which buildings and units should be produced to maximize efficiency, and to follow a progression of a desired unit com...

Re: Actions Per Minute
I don't think it's lacking. Well, it's not as developed as in starcraft, but i use very clean well-tested build orders most of the time, and i teach my AI to use them as well. Some of the most currently notable include factory-lab-command-factory-factory-gen fastest machinegun rush (sometimes with ...

Re: Global difficulty setting and skirmish
Personally I think that settings screen would need some redesigning in future as it is currently confusing which options applies to which game modes (except when it is explicitly settled, like for unit color). I would like to see it as two (Campaign and Multi Player) or three tabs (I'm not sure if ...

Re: Actions Per Minute
In terms of change;
I believe that having such a mod could lead a better development or emphasis on Build Orders that I also see lacking in the WZ world.

( And yes, I know you know what I did just there )

Re: Actions Per Minute
But consider what would happen to the APM stats when commander/sensor droids start taking over basic tasks... To me at least, this isn't really a problem because like the APM of the StarCraft kind; the APM count of WZ could or would be weighted against a time decay that would continuously affect th...

Re: Actions Per Minute
As for commanders, I'm still not convinced by them. Sure, your units gain experience quicker, but other than that they are doing little more than say assigning a unit to a sensor would. Personally I don't get the whole experience thing. Number of kills maybe, but that's it. Then again I come from a...

Re: Actions Per Minute
.. in other words; adding such a mod/addon would bring about a depth not before seen in the WZ world of gaming??

Actions Per Minute
It's been a long time since I visited these here forums and during my absence as I was playing StarCraft: Brood War; it suddenly occurred to me that WZ may not have an Action Per Minute mod that allows a real-time counter of actions that a player makes. In the world of StarCraft, APM is "a meas...

Re: Unforgettable Movies That You Have Ever Watched
The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951). The first time, I had ever watched it, I forgot to eat the popcorn I made for myself. No other movie to date has made me miss a meal before or since then (lol). I knew as soon as I saw it, that any movie remake of it would be .. not so good haha. Although I hav...

Re: What OS do you run ?
Well, after a year or so away from Warzone. I've had to change my equipment and thus my vote once again
I run an Arch Linux / LFS / Gentoo / *BSD / Windows XP setup on an Acer Aspire One. Warzone 2100 works perfectly on all of them.

Re: Why not make spy trucks?
I rather like this idea, it reminds me of my AOE days, wait was it AOE?? I dunno..
..but anyways..
Me thinks the "spy truck" should be a "spy cyborg" because to me it makes more sense that a humanoid is doing the spying rather than a vehicle.
