Re: Steam for linux
I toyed with TF2. It's fun for a bit if you can afford the HD space, though, playing that game for only a brief time was enough to convince me we are doing fine with out in-game voice chat.

Thanks MeroMerowingg wrote:Effigy 1.27 and 1.25... I hope I helped
Yes, that helped. Now I can say we lost the ability to open maps by double clicking in version 1.28.

Re: FlaME -- The Warzone 2100 Map Editor
Does anyone have v1.26 and v1.27 of the windows installer? I'm curious to see if either of those versions still opens maps when double clicking them (worked in 1.25, but not 1.28 (thank's aubergine) or 1.29).

Re: hypothetical cheating
I don't think going back into sync will happen very often, if ever. What we could do is to save the game on the host, and allow the host to rehost the game based on the savegame. Then everyone will be back in sync (hoping that what caused the desync won't happen again). This sounds like it could be...

Re: More exact time of research
I thought Satellite Uplink was closer to 30 min, but maybe I'm thinking of 2.3 randomness.
This is really cool, thanks (bookmarked).

Indeed. Likely the is some back story that links Dr. Reed to the creation of the teletubies.aubergine wrote:Teletubies were evil, bendib, evil.

Re: FlaME -- The Warzone 2100 Map Editor
Hmm... I've never had a program do what I described before this. Aside from that, the last version of flame I ran (1.25, and just minutes before upgrading to 1.29) didn't have a problem doing this. Since flame still offers to set file type associations I assume this is an indication that something i...

Re: FlaME -- The Warzone 2100 Map Editor
It seems Flame (v1.29) no longer opens a map when double clicking a map file.Flame will open, but not with the map loaded.

This is an old bug. IIRC it appeared during the 2.3.x betas.
