Re: Maps made by BrickTop

I've played some of the maps on the previous page, and they are really well done! the strategic value on most are very curve learning, in that you must know the surroundings, and use them to your advantage. I’ll be looking at the other maps as well...and...quite frankly, there are so many, I couldn’...

Re: NTW-Nuclear Reactor

I belive It acts as a powerplant suppiled with oil. except you must have a certain number of cooling towers first placed. You need the cooling towers, oterhwise the Nuclear Reactor will take heavy damage over time.

Re: Segregating Maps & Mods.

Allow me to rephrase that:
Maps and mods that are on the forums, not the addons page.

Segregating Maps & Mods.

Simply put, I propose that we separate Maps and Mods into their own categories under “Showcase”. There are a lot of mods that tend to be squished between the maps, it is my hope that this can organize things a little.

Re: Cumulative research cost

The research times could be really...iffy. It’s a really good idea, I’ll give you that. But the research times can vary since researching facilities themselves can be improved. Practically, that part wouldn't have much use, except as an estimate. But I do like the cumulative power and total costs up...

Re: Random jokes

A small tank, with a little machine gun mounted atop of it, climbed up a hill. It passed two VTOLs, and went to the cliff. Revving it’s engines, it tried it’s best to jump off, landing on the ground. Going up the hill again, the tank passed the same VTOLs, going to the cliff, and rolling down. The s...

Re: A short Warzone fiction story.

Probably one of my worse works so far, actually. I rushed it this time, just because this particular segment was floating in my head for a while. Maybe I’ll make a revision sometime in the future and expand it. I am happy that it got noticed though. You’d be surprised by how much a writer relies on ...

A short Warzone fiction story.

As I am horrible at finishing projects, I decided to warm up by writing a story about the fist mission on Warzone…but from the scavengers point of view. It was dank, and rusty. Still, it kept the place cool from the beating heat outside. While it was mainly used as an eating establishment, food was ...

The unfinished Guide to codeing!

Salutations! This thread is here to teach others about the grand works and language of coding. Or more specifically, messing around with the spaghetti like programming that is Warzone: 2100. Mostly, this is to help those understand the complexity of how to read just what goes into it all. So to be c...

Re: Defensive Strategy

If you are going to be building a lot of walls, your opponent may then retaliate by sending a large hand full of cannon type tanks. Cannons deal quite a bit of damage to walls when upgraded properly, so it is best to build cyborgs to defend your walls/towers. Cannons deal about below average amount ...

Re: new maps

The AI seems to have problems with escape. I’m not sure if it was intended, but the trucks start outside of the complex away from the HQ tower and factory. Because the trucks start far away from their base, the AI will start a new base where they are at, and then suicide themselves to where their HQ...

Re: Donate

The devs have talked about it, and they say that donations aren’t really necessary. The best thing that people can do to contribute, is to find bugs and post tickets on them, make mods/music/maps, or generally advertising this game on other places  Or better yet, if you have any coding skillz,...

Re: new maps

Played lake of souls. it was pretty good! I like the small hilly areas you put in, made it feel almost like a hill was dug up for strategic reasons. perhaps a couple more hills, and choke points? it's be really interesting to see a massive army navigating their way through a treterous terrain. I’ll ...

Re: 2.3.7 has been released!

On the home page it says that cannon damage to bunkers is down by %25. On this thread, (under where it says ‘MP Balance’) it says the opposite, up by %25.

Re: Health Calculation

My apologies for double posting.

Did some tests, the HP calculations are as follows:
(Research x body) + (Body x propulsion) + (Research x turret) = total body points.

From what I can tell, the upgrades includes the body, and the turret, while the propulsion only effects the body.
