Re: Propulsion proportion

I think, the propulsion you use depends on the map, the positioning of yourself and the enemy, what tech paths you are going down and what tech the enemies are using. Short direct distance to the enemy - More VTOL Water obstructs the direct path to the enemy - More hover Enemy using weapons with lot...

Re: Balance Option 3 - Cherry pick in Autobalance V2

... all weapons have high accuracy in 3.1 ... 2.3.9 and 3.1 have 100% same stats ... Hmm... if they have the same stats why are they more accurate in 3.1? Perhaps because direct fire units won't fire if they don't have line of sight in 3.1, instead of shooting into the smallest bump in the map in 2...

:)
You'll probably want to use the --fullscreen, --windowed and --resolution WIDTHxHEIGHT flags. (all available flags and how to use them on your OS can be found at the link above)

Also moved the thread to help/troubleshooting.

Re: "Would you ever..." game :)

Since Rebo forgot to include a question...

Would you ever eat all of the foil from a creme egg (or your prefered foil wrapped chocolate egg) just so you could eat the egg itself? (based on a true story :3 )

Re: Please Help

I've moved the thread to the help/troubleshooting forum, you'll get better responses for technical problems here.

What operating system are you on?
For vista and win 7 the directory should be in C:\Users\%yourusername%\Documents. (vista/win7 equivalent of XP's "My Documents")

Re: Multiple weapons on a tank

I'm pretty sure that was fixed quite a while ago. Both in 2.3.x and 3.x. If you have found a new bug, then http://developer.wz2100.net/newticket is the place please. :) A quick fyi if you don't already know, but you can have tanks with three weapons instead of just two by changing the number to 3 in...

We do not allow discussion of cheating which could be used in multiplayer. If you want an extra edge in singleplayer, you can visit http://guide.wz2100.net/cheats.

Re: FlaME -- The Warzone 2100 Map Editor

You do realise that guide is 5 years old, right? So it's no suprise that it's a little outdated in some areas. Still significant for much older versions, but as has been said already, gateways are no longer used for pathing by the ai. For NEXUS ai, they give hints about where to build defenses. The ...

Re: Mysteryem's Maps & Mods 4c-Frostblade

Made this one over the weekend while I was on holiday. Have fun :) 4c-Frostblade: A four player, rotationally symmetric, map set in a snowy rockies environment for 2v2 or FFA. The scavengers have a centre map presence as well as some guarded oils in the corners of the map. The rush time between adja...

Re: Make the MMORTS Warzone 2100

Turning the game into an mmorts would take a lot of time and effort even for a funded team of video game developers, let alone us bunch of developers. If you want to port it yourself, then you're welcome to do so, since the project is, after all, open-source. More info in the FAQ: http://guide.wz210...

Re: Iron Sky movie

Me and my friends are very much hoping this comes to the UK, we've been following it since the first teaser. I'm curious if its' gonna come out in Germany. Probably not, because of too much swastikas. Most nazi-movies are the documentary style of what happened and stuff... Kinda boring... Iron Sky c...

Re: Commanders and the CRC

Actually, I think there was a 1.x mod back in the days where there was a 'combat commander turret' where it was essentially a medium cannon. If I recall correctly, the main problem with it, was that the units being commanded would only change what they we're attacking each time the cannon's project...

Re: FlaME -- The Warzone 2100 Map Editor

With the later versions of flaME, why does importing a heightmap create a new blank map with that heightmap applied, as opposed to applying the heightmap to the currently open map? It seems counterproductive to me.
