Re: New master snapshot 20120109 has been released!
finally the fps problems are fixed I am getting over 1400 constant now!! you can burn that qt crap in hell and never go back to that piece of crap again!! For me SDL backend seems to cause bigger CPU usage, but I would need to test both side by side using the same savegame... Also don't get bad imp...

Re: when entering password for multiplayer...
Yea, reverting means that the login changes will be undone (i.e. not just remove the requirement of a login, but the existence of the login as well).lav_coyote25 wrote:perhaps is time to get rid of the password requirement, or is this what you mean by reverting???

Re: The final version of the 2.3 series is now out! v. 2.3.9
The disappearing unicode lobby chat text 2896 was not fixed  That one might have fallen off our radar and forgotten, it definitely looks like a legitimate criticism/feedback about the release. but you didn't create tickets and patches to include it all into wz... Everything that went into wzgm...

I think this particular discussion can be left to rest and what's left of this thread can focus on Seismo's pie manager.

Re: Pie File Manager
And i used it for study only. It is written in good old "c" and my engine and game is written in "c#" (c-sharp) which should lead you into the conclusion that there are a lot differences in language and design. So in any case i am not able to make a copy of the old or newer stuf...

Hey come back to normal please. No one except me knows what my project is and can do. I never pretended to know exactly what your project was. I did not spread any word about using one pice of your codebase or anything else related to this project here. The following quotations brought into questio...

Re: anti-cheat code
I've seen this in master, too, though it was expected as the "2+2=5" logo was present. O_o really? The "2+2=5" symbol means that the game is out of sync (that is why he said it was expected). With 2.3 it is difficult to know whether someone is really a speed hacker or if...

If you plan to make money why didn't you come up with your own ideas for a game?Seismo wrote:no problem, i have misunderstood you. I plan to earn money with my solution, so i am not able to work for others than (no time left).
I would think that it would be more fun than having to consulting attorneys.

Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
Mhmm, I think it is best to leave them unmerged until later when more thorough cost/benefit analysis can be performed. I really don't want to edit each model for this because I may "miss click" and texture will be a bit twisted or stretced. :( Who knows, maybe that's where all the off-by-o...

Re: FlaME -- The Warzone 2100 Map Editor
Good question. Allowing the map editor to set the height would allow some more configuring for map makers (like features partially submerged into the ground). How useful is this really/in practice? I would think that the engine setting the height using the XY coordinates set by the map editor would...

Looks like it is because it is RGBA format (8bits per channel = 4 bytes).Ezio wrote:and anyone know why when we're allocating video to memory we multiply it by 4 in here?

pffft! :annoyed: looks like some one enlisted the aid of ????? to introduce new crap eh? :hmm: is the latest nightly master.... :3 I noticed this too, my guess would be that the bson lobby merge likely introduced that (unless there has been other commits which have touched UI code). It basically me...

This is a known issue, there's a ticket somewhere with a patch which mitigates this issue.Happy Camper wrote:and the numbers in the rally points were not readable (I posted a screenshot in the masters release thread).
