Re: Changes are coming!
"I think we need new icons... and we don't have any good icons to have for private communication between players. :hmm:" - Vote yes for this. "As for lag causing desyncs, no, that wouldn't do it. The game will pause (Zzz) waiting for that player, it wouldn't do a desync on that."...

Re: Changes are coming!
"Speaking of desync, we really need something better to show than 2+2=5, too many people don't understand what that means, and I don't blame them, it isn't very intuitive." and here I was thinking the game just had a problems with sums. I'd like a frowny face instead. I've made a pointless...

Re: Changes are coming!
This sounds like a good move to me, as wuz21m and I both found independently that displayConsoleMessages is a performance killer. This change would reduce latency locally and probably help improve online too by the same accord. We should make this a configurable option in the menu that way people ca...

Re: Dtrace Vsync
Fair enough, I'm just wondering what specific scenario it would be useful for. CPU is defo the first bottleneck, then again I have a high end GPU so perhaps a lower spec model would cause that to bottleneck first. I was informed to trace memsets as opposed to mallocs, in future I can just check both...

Re: FreeBSD version 3.1.2
I have made no modifications to this file. Only difference is the automake version, which looks to cause 3 separate make files... I have checked the contents of this and mine appears identical to this file on github - https://github.com/Warzone2100/warzone2100/blob/master/Makefile.am I find the cont...

Re: FreeBSD version 3.1.2
Are you doing ./autogen.sh first ? - yes first thing each time before carrying on. Any errors with that ? When I have automake 1.15 - just upgraded to from I believe 1.14. should I attempt to match the versions if possible? Couldn't find in pkg or the ports tree... ./autogen.sh + checking for autoco...

Re: Sync Issues - v3.1.2
Checking back over previous tickets with desync, to find commonalities or indicators to help with cause Out of sync in the game takes place between Windows 7 (64bit) and WindowsXP SP3 (32bit). Using a clean build, with no mods, no add-ons, without maps, we de-synchronization. Repeat this experience ...
