Re: Linux Help!
Whoops! OK, you're running Lubuntu 14.10. If you have installed synaptic (sudo apt-get install synaptic) then you can search for all drivers related to your graphics chip. Install lshw (sudo apt-get install lshw) and run that from command line as root. (sudo lshw) to see what graphic chip you have. ...

Re: Linux Help!
You must have accelerated graphics. So, what graphics "chip" do you have?? Have you installed it's drivers? How much memory total and how much devoted to graphics? I actually got warzone running on a teeny-tiney ASUS notebook, after installing the intel drivers. Which distro are you runnin...

Re: Dreaded Port 2100 topic
Maybe Win7 doesn't like the idea that you are "serving" anything without a server edition? That's the reason I switched to Linux LONG ago. No a*** license requirements.

Re: Community testers wanted!
Running Debian Jessie 64 and it built just fine. Ran it in single mode, and the only problem I had was that the click-on-select area of vehicles is pretty small. Overall, good job. Ric BTW, the master zip file offered on github for download refused to compile for me. Maybe this version should replac...

RE: Pathing for units is flawed
It looks like the trucks are infatuated with each other. But, while they do that it keeps them from carrying out build orders. Not good.

Re: units repulsion like in old Warzone 2100-2.3.9
If he means what I think he means, I agree. In the older versions, when building with trucks if you had multiple trucks assigned to build something, they would push and shove each other more to get into building position. Now, if one truck is behind another, it just wimps out struggling in a circle ...

trucks have gotten really dumb ver 3.1_rc2
They are not aggressive as in the past, not pushing and shoving other trucks in the same unit in order to get into position to build. They are pertty pathetic! Is there some way to have them behave as before?? It's quite maddening. Thanks! Warzone2100 is my favorite way to blow a lot of time just pl...

Re: New Alpha-Releases with old problems
Dear Warzone-Team, I want to say/ask something about the way you work on the new alpha versions called master. I hope you won´t get me wrong. The last two beta's (Master series) do not trap the mouse in fullscreen mode, using Ubuntu 10.4/Linux. The Beta-3 version works perfectly. So, since I have 6...

Re: warzone 1940? warzone 1969? warzone 2010?
You bet! General Patton and I share the same birthday. Imagine having to use trucks to lay tracks for one of those German railroad car loaded monster cannons. And ships, as you develop you get larger size ships and larger guns. Simple flattops evolve into Aircraft Carriers. Biplanes to single winged...

Ha! I kinda like "Alien Hordes" myself... suppose we compromise and say "Alien Human-Machine Hordes"? I hope you do check out Marc's themes. Heckuva guy, restaurant manager by day, computerized metal head by night. He said he'd didn't mind sharing his music as long as he got credi...

warzone 1940? warzone 1969? warzone 2010?
I think it would be really interesting to see warzone period mods where you have only the conventional weapons of a period, like WW-II or Vietnam or Pakistan middle east. Battleships, airplanes, aircraft carriers, mortars and large guns, plus tanks and ground troops instead of cyborgs. I think it wo...

You need to install libphysfs-dev Just do a search with your favorite package manager.
That will give you all the build stuff. Ric
