Re: "Update" feature on game menu
Also, i hate auto-update in all forms and i think this feature should be banned forever in all countries of the world! Users should always know what their computer is doing, what applications it is installing, etc. (: Oh, I agree with you there. I've had several cases of auto-update breaking a prog...

Re: Yet another balance proposal.
They were pretty good. Seriously good. - weak wheeled propulsion (whyyy??) - weak tracked propulsion (due to slowness, but yes depend on map and teams) I wouldn't mind if wheels were a little cheaper to make up for it, but I'll still use them on anything that I don't intend to have taking damage - ...

Well, that would certainly be easier to implement. :p

Re: Ideas from a fan
A tech tree would be nice, and so would being able to queue research instead of having to go visit the lab screen whenever each research completes. I would even suggest a tech tree with weighted-random chances for most non-essential technologies, as Sword of the Stars implemented (quite well), but I...

Re: "Update" feature on game menu
As a relatively new Linux Mint user fresh from Win7, I'm quite aware of how obtuse and aggravating uncompiled source downloads are. It might be okay for the other OSes though, at least for people that like to always have the freshest beta. I guess it's probably more work than it's worth, considering...

Re: Asbestos Tank
New Paradigm bodies have a nice combination of thermal armor and low cost, and are fast too. I suppose I wouldn't be opposed to a new chassis line with even higher thermal armor and lower ballistic armor, but I'm not sure if they would be all that useful unless your enemy insists on only using therm...

"Update" feature on game menu
I'd like to suggest/request a version update feature on the game menu which will check to see if the game files are up to date, and then give you an option to update them to the latest release version or latest beta version. Selecting one would, naturally, download the new game files and update Warz...

Re: naval warfare
Would it be possible to have some combination of these? (a) have a shipyard that can only be built on water (b) have the shipyard building, when constructed, create a water channel in front of or inside itself somehow (c) allow the building/digging of water-filled canals with trucks, to connect ship...

Re: The Oil Searching and Digging Unit/s ?!
It's not only a bad idea because of asymmetry, it's also a bad idea because of the snowballing effect of making rich players richer and discouraging them from spending their money on fighting. You would be able to turtle up and multiply your power exponentially without leaving your base - and that's...

Re: naval warfare
If ships & submarines, what happens to the hovercraft ? An Idee is to lett the hovercraft only work on shallow water, and the ships works on all type of water. A counter-suggestion - simply make Boat propulsion roughly as tough as Tracks, but not as slow. That way, true naval units will be the ...
