Yeah on low power maps they can be useful, but medium/high power or even if there's just quite a bit of oil about.
I never play these maps with loads of oil in base.

And why would you? You don't learn anything if everyone says something mediocre is great, instead of saying, 'that's average, you can improve x'.

3,5,6,7 players would be great! 8+ players? Not really needed.

Well, all the maps I've made took me less than 8 hours. I you spend 1~2 hours everyday making a map, you can make good ones in a week. By the sole reason that people don't make them. I've already seen you criticize a lot of maps, but did you ever try to make one? Great suggestion!

Although why can't there be 3,5,7 player maps too? This would lead to great things, like you can have 2 vs 1 or 3 vs 2 against AIs or a 7 player FFA with scavengers...

Sorry, flat was definately the wrong word and 'lack of cliffs' was what I meant. Dunes don't really make any difference than if the terrain was flat, in terms of gameplay, pretty much. No enough space. You can't send many tanks to an enemy base. Artillary and VTOLs are the only useful thing here, unless you manage an early flamer rush. The thinner passages need to be wider.

Horrible map. It's completely open (hover tanks), very flat. Too much oil in base. Might be interesting with no oil in base.

Hide Behind Me challenge is pretty hard. You need to dominate power in order to win. Best seems to be either to rush the enemy base at the bottom corner with one truck (pink) and steal their resources (while also taking it down to 3 vs 4) or to rush the centre oil immediately and take 4-5 of them an...
