Re: Scrolling through Build menu
Unfortunately, that was a new feature. I don't recall which version it originally appeared in, though.

Re: addons author_mapname?
That's only an issue in terms of being user identifiable without previewing the map, these days, though.

Re: Test builds for people who have issues with game speed
... The only way, to get it running smoothly I found, is to turn off sound completly -not really a solution... You get use to it :) I've been playing this way for a long time, for a boost of about 10fps. Now with the T4 build the game usually runs very smooth. As Ezio said the next best thing is to...

I'm guessing it's so the map maker name shows up on the in-game map selector.

Re: Accuracy straw poll
[... Eventually, at twice the distance from that point to the weapon (assuming that the projectile's speed never changes), the homing projectile's accuracy would reach 100%. By the way, I haven't actually voted yet, though I'm considering it. Interesting. I'm one of the no opinion votes, cur...

Re: Accuracy straw poll
I think it's logical that the further away a unit/def from a target the less accurate it should be. No randomness needed, except to determine when a shot will miss. If a shot with splash hits a tile with out a droid/def it's logical to me that anything in the area of effect should take some damage, ...

Re: Starting power level amount
The closest thing that I know to playing an arcade mode in a Warzone 2100 mod that allows players to design units may be Contingency, with the T1 tier-limiting addon enabled. That tier-limiting mod would restrict players to using T1 stuff like Lancers, Heavy Cannons, Mortars, Flamers, Heavy Machine...

Re: another warzone version?
You'll notice in the upper right hand corner it says that listing was created on "Aug 4, 2008."
From a quick poking around it looks to me like that site is similar to Steam. I'm guessing that it's true those users have logged in there at those times, but not for Warzone.
