This appearance violates my understanding of a bunker, it looks more like a machinegun tower! Maybe there isn't one clear cut definition of bunkers. Check out these photos --> The fatal beauty of Bunkers Some of the pictures show the ruins of fortified emplacements and defence towers... But okay, i...

http://forums.wz2100.net/download/file.php?id=8023&t=1 This appearance violates my understanding of a bunker, it looks more like a machinegun tower! Typically a bunker is build with minimal exposed surface, and not presenting a vast concrete wall towards the enemy. Place it much lower, even if ...

Re: Super Transport model submissions
See? Its cockpit is tiny compared to the vehicles size. I'll look at that on the model soon maybe scale a few things. Thanks Berg, thank you very much for your answer. Do you know any visual size references for warzone? For example, what would be the diameter of the machine gun bunker in reality? O...

Re: Super Transport model submissions
I think the cockpit and windows are too big in size, by far. It looks like a smaller vessel, just scaled in size. Sure, maybe a very large transport would have a big cockpit or even something like a bridge. But not that big. In my understanding the engineering truck looks a little bit like this: htt...

Re: Vehicule in reverse
Are there any news regarding this topic? Its one of the very few things of WZ which annoy me. I think every unit should have various states in which they react differently. A healthy unit which hasn't experienced aggression in the past 10 seconds would prefer the quickest movement possible, while a ...

Re: Vehicule in reverse
Tanks front armor is strongest, you would retreat backwards. In fact, turning around uncovers your weak sides for some time.. bad idea. (No clue if there are different armor zones in WZ, but it looks more realistic)

Re: Please test the 2.3 beta releases!
Well, I just compiled the beta and gave it a try, skirmish. System: Ubuntu 9.10, 32 Bit, ATI 3200 mobility * SOUND: After some time the Sound begins to scramble, this even stops sometimes and everything seems to be in order again, but after some time the noise starts again. Guess its pulseaudio rela...

Re: Commanders: who actually uses them??
Experienced commanders are a very powerful multiplier at the battlefield. But unexperienced ones are more or less a handicap. Experience doesn't just add some benefits, but renders a commander from a handicaped one to one of the most deadly units. However, training takes a lot of time. Thus a traine...

Re: Researching Defenses takes overly long, which is illogical.
I totally agree. How come that you need a lot of time to research how to mount a weapon to some concrete, while you are instantly able to mount the very same weapon to different bodys? My proposal is: Clone the concept of vehicles: Research buildings (pits, bunkers, towers of any kind) and handle th...
