Re: Sticky topic request: Maps
I agree, I'm also tired of playing the same maps over and over again. And it's sometimes annoying how hard you have to search to find a good custom map. What I propose: Maps that are work in progress should be in topics in the mapping / modding section or showcase. Maps that are really finished and ...

It would be nice if you're able to show the map size and tileset in somewhere in the map selection screen.

Re: WZ Screenshoots!
You need a lot of tanks if you want to breach that defense (without artillery etc)

Re: New mode?
That's very nice - don't know if it is exactly the same but I always hate this when playing co-op: I have some units with heavy damage and they have to retreat all the way because they can't repair at the repair facility of my teammate. Or defenses of my teammate get blown up because he lost some tr...

Re: So, what should we do for music?
Hm, simple question: why we can't use original soundtrack? ??? Read the faq/wiki/9999 forum posts about this subject and the videos :) About the C&C series: haven't played any of the C&C games in a very long time - In fact, I have no idea what the music sounds like, although I have a vague idea a...

Re: So, what should we do for music?
Sure, I agree it would be best to put our heads together for the music, otherwise we would end up having some great tracks but they would not fit together. I think, before the 'release' of the music, all original scores should be mixed off by 1 person, otherwise you're dealing with a lot of differen...

Re: So, what should we do for music?
This was done on purpose. I was thinking of making it more loopable first, but since it is indeed very intense it wouldn't work. It's meant to be played during a relatively short time while in a battle, not as a background loop. I might create some longer loopable background tracks too, and I will l...

Re: So, what should we do for music?
So here's a little preview of what I'm working on. Please keep in mind that this is in no way a full song. In fact, it's just meant to show the style of music I would like during battle. Have fun: http://users.skynet.be/ratarf/Battle.mp3 P.S: if you think this sounds like 'oldschool dances', check y...

Re: So, what should we do for music?
He was referring to the intro of the song, and I liked the guitars there. Although, the rest of the song sounds a little too happy indeed. But what do you mean by "music can be hard and slow. No damn guitar or others punks stuff"? You mean guitars can't be hard and slow? Wait till you hear my soundt...

Re: So, what should we do for music?
The soundtracks in the wiki sound nice. But a small suggestion: It would be so great if the music adapted to the gameplay. I would really like some heavy guitars when I start attacking. Off course, it's harder to implement. But I think it's doable. A 'guitars fade in' trigger when you destroy some ...
