Re: Evasion Techniques - Riaa/Mediasentry, ect

Of course, I wouldn't encourage anyone to publicly condone illegal downloading, but p2p itself IS legal. Recently RIAA's "making available" attack failed in court, which was a very good development for the filesharing community. Generally bittorrent protocols are safer than the more popular KaZaA/Mo...

Re: The Public Domain and Intellectual Property

Well, I believe freedom is noble and public domain is the noblest of all free licenses. I don't think the radical 'free or die' crowd likes the public domain, though. Then again, it may not be everyone's intent to make their product truly 'free', which is why they resort to using the more restrictiv...

Re: The Public Domain and Intellectual Property

Is there a specific person or entity you're directing your comments to? Or is this just for general discussion about the public domain..?

Re: xp running slow, suggestions?

what are the symptoms?

Are you experiencing the problem where it will load to the desktop but it will take 5 mins or so for a program to load up (or once you login it will take about the same time for the icons to come up)?

Re: (Ingame Music) A couple tracks

The second track does not have a title yet. It is what I would consider "Trance" genre.

It is not quite as polished as the previous one because I spent more time on the last one. There are a lot of things that I want to change in both tracks, but I'm morbidly curious to see what people say.

(Ingame Music) A couple tracks

Hi everybody. I've been busy lately doing things that have taken me completely away from Warzone, but fortunately 15 minutes here and there for the last few weeks has allowed me to put together some new tracks. My preferred genre is Industrial / Electronic but I thought I'd try my hand at dance and ...

Re: The Future of RTS...& the 7 Deadly Sins

IMO it would be unplayable. All this talk leads me to believe that people have never played Cam3 on normal or hard.

Seriously, go try it on hard. It sucks.

Re: The Future of RTS...& the 7 Deadly Sins

Keep in mind I'm not discounting the possibility that they exist -- I do believe that Alien life exists elsewhere in the galaxy -- I just don't believe we are important enough for them to care about us (per-se). I agree with your points about the speed of technological evolution but clearly our tech...

Re: The Future of RTS...& the 7 Deadly Sins

Regarding all this talk of SETI: First, if people are implying that the Warzone storyline should or could have Aliens involved, I think that is simply absurd. Clearly Pumpkin did NOT have any intention of introducing any sort of Alien elements into the game. Also, isn't the notion of Aliens seeking ...

I think M406 or M651 would be more effective than flares

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch port?

I think an arena-battle type mode where you design and pilot a tank in a sort of deathmatch mode would be fun, but the general game itself is far too complex to even be feasable on small, handheld devices like that. I played Warfare Incorporated on my palm. It was actually pretty fun, but it was C&C...

Re: iPhone/iPod Touch port?

That's interesting about the alleged abuse at Apple. Hmm..

Also, I think a WZ port to one of those devices might sound like a good idea, but the problem is that Warzone is too immersive and it would be very frustrating playing the game on one of those.

Re: What the hell are...

Yes, the SP NEXUS cyborgs are much stronger than any contemporary Cyborg. They have Rail-Guns, too!

This is one of the prime reasons why Cam3 is so difficult.
