LoD was one of my favourite mods. It won't play on recent versions of WZ, but maybe you can persuade someone here to have a go at adapting it. To v2.3.9 anyway - very few mods will play under 3.1.

Ok, so i guess nobody minds the incendiary damage problem being fixed (on the code side). So i think the right question to ask now is what exactly we expect to see when it's fixed. A few random thoughts: We may turn flamers into a purely anti-personnel weapon, similar to what has been there before ...

Shadowing is weird. Isn't that a pretty basic problem to have at this stage? No. Even when it is a bug in the application (as opposed to the driver or haqrdware), it might only be exposed on certain driver / hardware combinations. Line of minipod towers attacked from two sides, front right and flank right. Right-side tower begins firing at attackers alternately. The remaining towers - though in range - remain silent. Good to see a dedicated mp version of WZ being offered, after years of trying to torture the original game into some kind of mp shape. If this works, then maybe the mainline offering can be restored to something like its original shape. (As it is, the 3.n now has a specific mp .wz, so in effect that...

Always been like that. I often use trucks to nose out the perimeter areas, pulling them back before whatever lurks there can fire. Then my range weapons take the lurker(s) out. Allow that the drivers/pilots (brave men all) are trained to do some spotting on the side...
