Re: New Features in Wz2100 which I want to see in future.

3)In Mplayer I think in stat bar (where conforming allianses "numpad_enter") in that window showing tanks which uses player. I think its wrong. Its tells all enemys that I will use that tanks for strike or sometthink like that. I think tanks must be replaced by for exemple colored cube or circle or...

I don't think I understand what you mean by 'mesh files.'

Re: new headquarters and modeling - all here now.

Update, kind of!

I just threw these together, not too long ago.

The main work was on the bodies, but I decided to add on some turrets and tracks to see a little bit more what it might eventually look like in-game, minus texturing. They'll look alot better with textures, I guarantee. =p

Re: Hello again!

Welcome back, Zagog. Maybe you'll remember a little Tyranid that ran around the NEWST/Pumpkin-2/RTS.net forums? =p Any idea if you can get that stuff converted to the new file formats? Would be cool. PS: Do you do any modeling? Perhaps you can help Rush and myself out, we're kind-of on a busy schedu...

Re: Super-standard propulsions?

I do have a picture, actually, I just forgot to post it. if you've messed around with wzck, you'll see mk II and mk III for most propulsion types, but they're never used -- in reality, they couldn't provide any benefit that is not obtainable through normal research. On the contrary. The Half-tracks ...

Super-standard propulsions?

I was playing around in Skirmish with the (New, dumbed down version) debug mode, and I noticed that it adds extra propulsions, namely, Half-tracks II and III, to the propulsion list, when you unlock all technology and items. Didn't see any other posts on the subject, so I decided to do so, myself. A...

Re: new headquarters and modeling - all here now.

You showed me that? I don't recall seeing it. Good work, though, you've gotten farther than I have with texturing. If we can do it that way, one question still remains:

Will the textures appear properly in WZ, assuming we already have a way to export them in .pie?

Re: Realistic/WWII total conversion?

A total conversion mod of wz set in modern time: 1.realistic weapon range(this will be relatively easy, thanks to wz's realistic artillery and AA weapon) 2.realistic unit 'sight',infantry has great sight while armored vehicle has very limited sight. 3.no design system and more action orientation/fas...

Re: new headquarters and modeling - all here now.

Eh, I don't...A release candidate is different. :P

This is partially because my friend just downloaded and installed the full release client for Windows Vista, since he is signed up at TechNet. The full version of Vista - different than a demo version.

Re: new headquarters and modeling - all here now.

Because it is a demonstration of the redeveloped stuff, a preview of what the game is going to have. We're not going to intermix the new stuff and the old stuff like that, that'll make the game look entirely weird.

Re: New Campaign Content...

You're right, they didn't. But you see, myself, and I'm sure alot of other people, have original copies of Warzone. We're going to miss all the video sequences, and voices, etc. I would do some revoicing, but I think my voice is not suitable for the job. Perhaps if I use my voice-masker program I ha...

Re: new headquarters and modeling - all here now.

Well, I think you don't understand what a 'demo' really is. Demo is short for demonstration. Once we have a suitable amount of new models and textures, we could release a demonstration client, with the new stuff, separate from the actual game. That's just for us to show off, and perhaps make us look...

New Campaign Content...

This is probably a few years in the future, as it's probably a low-priority idea, but I was thinking...If we are redeveloping the game, what do we think about redoing the voices, video sequences, maybe even adding new missions, and technologies to the campaigns? My thinking is: If we add new technol...

Re: new headquarters and modeling - all here now.

Oh, excuse the confusion. Those walls were made specifically for the Scavengers. :) My thinking was, as soon as we can get a (forsaken) program to convert our model format to .PIE, we could replace the old models with these, and perhaps re-release a demo, with new models, and textures. So, Rush and ...

Re: new headquarters and modeling - all here now.

It's not entirely related to the specific topic that is raging amongst this thread, but I have finished a variety of stuff. Rush, and myself, have decided that we should first work on early first campaign models, first, and move in chronological order from there. That way, whenever we get the .pie c...
