Re: Sync Issues - v3.1.2
I installed Warzone without any previous installations on my computer. He deleted his config from 3.1.1 and we still go out of sync every game. Not sure how to reproduce it specifically since we go out of sync at different points in games, but ultimately it will OOS on us.

Re: Sync Issues - v3.1.2
Me and a friend are running clean installs of WZ2100 3.1.2 and we get desync errors every game now. It's getting very frustrating. He's on OS/x and I'm on windows 7

Re: AI adaptive difficulty
If the AI could handle VTOLs and actually put up more than 5 AA turrets, it would be MUCH more difficult to kill.

Re: Gates
Gates are very useful, Empire Earth of all games proved this. You could easily wall yourself off in Empire Earth then add a gate to let your army pass. I don't see how people can dub gates "useless."

Re: AIvolution
I have played 2 skirmish games with this AI. In general, I would say this AI is much more challenging then the original. However, I do have the following observation, 1. This AI never uses VTOL. 2. This AI never uses artillery, neither does it defend against enemy artillery. I think it does a good ...

Re: Planes...
VTOLs are completely different from planes; VTOLs are more of helicopters. Planes would have a much higher speed and would not be able to stop moving and would need a land strip etc, whereas VTOLs can stop on the fly (lol pun) and land vertically. I don't really see the point in these though...maps ...

Gates for Walls
Another idea that I've had: Gates. It'd be really useful if you could implement gates into the game, this way I wouldn't have to leave a blank space open that enemies could simply rush through or snipe my builders through.

Ping for Minimap
A ping button for the minimap would be VERY useful for showing my allies as to where I'm talking about, instead of having to guide them there.

Re: Customizable defences and wall turrets
This is a great idea! Being able to customize walls instead of manually making my builders deconstruct then rebuild them would be much more efficient.

Re: Version 2.1 Release Candidate 2
Every game I play desyncs around an hour in. The sync issues really need addressing...I hate it when a game I've spent so much time on just disappears =\

Re: Ability to repair/help build teammate structures
How could they want it any other way than being able to repair your ally's structures?Buginator wrote:I do have a patch for this...someplace.
Actually, I started a CO-OP thread on this. I just don't got the time to finish it, the way people wanted.
Check out that thread/poll to see how most people wanted it.

Re: Space Combat/Drop Pods/Wahtever
You ask for criticism on your idea, so I gave you my thoughts. It appeared to me that you didn't know how to code, so I gave a realistic answer to the space battles. As for the dropping of the units, all I said was that to me it didn't fit the world of Warzone 2100 very well. Don't take criticism of...
