I think the endgame for multiplayer is to create settings (i.e. low oil, high oil, water, mountains, mods etc.) and then randomly generate maps so the emphasis is on adaptability and troop movements vs perfect research and moving back and forth on a flat map. Starting without a CC
Templates break the game in that when you start a game at T2, T3, or with bases and no Command Center. If you build a factory, you have access to all your templates before you build a command center. Is this intentional?
