i dont know if a fix is even possible.. seriously.. the light cannon is nearly in the same fault.. only a couple fast researches till the medium is out only making the medium viable int he first 5 min or so of the game.. and even the medium canon is put in check as soon as the lancer comes into play...

not much higher.. but some.. and no.. not orbital.. my main complaint would be the draw distance though.. the chase to increase that in the graphics men would really make things alot nicer in chase views for those with decent compies. plasma cannon.. i have NEVER found use for.. its got horribly sho...

laser artillery is very simple.. orlox has it partialy correct though.. diamonds.. hardly.. a simple mirror wold do the job just fine as a laser is nothing more then light... so yould see the emplacement fire off up the top off the screen.. only to have it fall down from the sky on the target.. ungo...

as i said only have it active or opaque wile you are in build mode.. should be fine then. and no..it wouldent slow the game down consideraby.. the shadows can be kept low resolution and even teh cheapest of computers these days can handle low level lighting. not to mention it being a new graphic opt...

olrox.. im just a 3d nub.. and unlike all the pros out there i havent had any sort of training.. and texturing is mainly done with a few photoshop filters and what not.. cant really draw that well. work primariy out of photoshop and blender which is a free 3d program thats know for its.. ungoddly ho...

you had to have started out at tech 2 or 3
because tech 1 theres a good 10-12 researches before you can get vtols going.

no cannon arent homing... thus why the nice blast radious. ive always felt that the other players ring should be visible.. but i figured that the devs skipped out on it to help keep the gpu resource costs down as it wasent really a NEEDED game play element.. just asthetic.. but now computers could h...
