Re: WZBlue lobby monitor -- new version for 4.5.x

1.3.2: Allow filtering empty games. With our autohoster filled lobby, you can see what a difference it makes.

Re: WZBlue lobby monitor -- new version for 4.5.x

The code is not signed, so if you get an "Unknown publisher" warning on Windows, click "More Info" and then click "Run".
I'm not a fan of modern app store code signing enforcement. Still have nightmares about when macOS forced it on by default.

WZBlue lobby monitor -- new version for 4.5.x

Hi all. I almost never post anymore even though I still play, but I thought I'd mention a new version of the WZBlue lobby monitor for 4.5.x
Previous versions of Warzone 2100 were limited to 11 games in the lobby due to code debt.
WZBlue previously used that protocol, and the new data set that comes ...

Steambabbage wrote: 03 Jul 2020, 14:27 This new release works well on Raspberry Pi4's.
Got an audio problem, but that might a Raspberry Pi OS 5.4 kernel issue.
Version 3.2.1 sound is ok.
The HRTF audio stuff is very interesting, was not aware of that technology before.
Wait, the RasPi4 GPU can run standard OpenGL?

Re: RatBot, an AI for high oil

Okay, so after a *few* days, I finally got something that functions more or less correctly on low truck maps. There's still some weirdness, like explicitly ignoring requests to not build with under 2 trucks, but it's fairly normal and no longer gets stuck. 3 ratbots always beat 4 nullbots on NTWMax2 ...

Re: RatBot, an AI for high oil

It's very good that more and more bots are appearing for our favorite game!
But unfortunately I tried version 0.8 on dramatic, it gets completely stuck and doesn't play.

In any case, do not stop in development, I really want to see good bots for any game modes.
I'm ...

Re: RatBot, an AI for high oil

Well, good news for the likes of @Prot, I have resumed work on RatBot. I have just released v0.8, which is available as an addon attached.

Quite a lot has been overhauled.

Download sequences.wz from Sourceforge, and save the file as:

Code: Select all

~/.local/share/warzone2100-3.3.0/sequences.wz

Re: WZBlue GTK: Graphical Lobby Monitor for Linux, Unix, Win

This program is no longer maintained, because I'm leaving WZ. You can fork it on github to continue development. It's in C99 with GTK 2. Beware, weird pointer tricks and severe calling convention exploitation are present.

Thanks for your support everyone.

Re: No Limits and Teamwar-Maps

You like to "play" on a totally flat terrain and 50 oil derricks in your base? Why didn´t you just say that you do not like to play Warzone. That would have been easier. There is no reason to be happy by removing 90 % of the original Warzone gameplay. :)

If that were true, that's a lot of ...

Re: No Limits and Teamwar-Maps

I don't remember the no limits mod at all, but I've only been with WZ since 2010. These NTW maps you describe are actually the most commonly played map in WZ, so in that regard, you're in luck.

I hear other people can't host on Windows 10. I think it might be a bug with Windows 10.
