Re: Modifications to defensive building models needed
Hmm, I like that one a lot actually. It feels like it would fit in well also.

Re: Models by MaNGusT (AR)
Do you have an ingame screenie that shows them side-by-side?
Also for the eye-sex of it, of course.

Re: Models by MaNGusT (AR)
They look really awesome! Good work, as usual! :D I have one minor gripe with them though, and that is that they're not really that distinctive from one another. It's difficult to tell which turret type you're dealing with, at a glance. Now the original game wasn't free from this, to a degree, but t...
Re: Qt
I checked this between the QT build on the front page, and the 2.3.7 build that's also on there. The QT Build, and only that one, averages 0 fps when I'm hosting a game. It's literally impossible to get into the game. Here are my specs: Processor: Intel i7 920 (@2.67GhZ) RAM: 2GB DDR3 (at above 1GhZ...
Re: Qt
I find the decision for using Qt specifically a little odd, but then I'm not completely up to date with the alternatives (maybe someone who is can elaborate on the pros and cons) However, I AM a gamer and know this: The game is currently unbearably slow... and that's just the MP set up menu. It's co...

Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
Really? 36? That's quite a bit. What about if you only extend a single side (just to the front or to the back)?

Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
Thank you rider.. I'm not entirely sure what you mean with the cylindrical parts protruding, but since It was an easy thing to do without changing texturing etc. I experimented with a thicker turbine part. What do you think? I'm afraid I don't see too much of a different. What I actually meant was ...

Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
Can't really pop out for too long without missing out on some great modelling/texturing work. Very cool stuff, pretty much all of it is grade A artwork :D I will say though, I suspect the Heavy Hover could use something to make it look a bit more beefy, compared to the medium hover. Maybe make the c...

Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
Wow, nice textures! I like 'em! They're pretty saturated color-wise though, is that because of the way you applied the teamcolor, or is that something with the texture?
Looking really good though, if this is what my Warzone will end up looking like I'll have to go play it more

Re: Models by Jorzi (AR)
That command turret looks awesome! Great job!
I'm liking the new tracks too, can't wait to see how those end up.
I was wondering though, has anyone stepped up to actually finish the textures on these models? Will you do it yourself if no-one else will?

Re: Vote on the new textures!
I like MaNGusT's mountain textures better, though Gerard's have a nice amount of patterning that I miss with MaNGusT's versions. I love the stone tiles that Gerard made (as seen in the player's base in the screenshots at the top of the thread), much more then the bland rock that MaNGusT has, but in ...

Re: Structure Improvement
We are indeed planning on adding support for normal mapping in the future. Some of our other developers come and go, and even if none of our core developers implement it, someone new might come along... This sounds an awful lot like "We have plans for X, and hope somebody will come along to ex...
