Re: Suggestion: Can we please get this game back on Linux?
The Ubuntu Software Center is controlled by the developers at Ubuntu. We can't upload packages there, and even if we did, Ubuntu would not release them until they are considered "stable" or until the next Ubuntu release cycle. Just an inherent disadvantage when using package managers. It's...

Re: FlaME -- The Warzone 2100 Map Editor
Yes, I'm using Mono 2.10.8. I'm using the official build, I haven't tried compiling. I'll do that and report back.

Showing Score at the End of Multiplayer
Just a small suggestion - at the end of multiplayer games, how about showing the scoreboard (intelligence display) in addition to the "host quit" message?
It would be for players like me who forget to open the intelligence display at the end of our games to check the scores.

Re: Request for a second chance
Footnote: GreenBDC, If you are reading this, my team (3 other people, who don't you think would have said something) did not cheat in the game today. BDCs are just often too amazed when someone beats them. Try making more tanks than defenses next time. :-) That, my friend, is a stereotype. Green is...

Re: Great game, except for one thing.
Yup, the campaign can be a shocker for those used to turtling (like me before I got mildly good at RTS's), but once you have down the basics, it's a piece of cake. Remember that you always have to push, otherwise you can't win. ;) It's different in skirmish of course (when you can turtle on your sil...

Re: Experiencing the Super Transport in MP & SKI - eh ?
Well, more speed could possibly unbalance the game by making borg transports useless (especially on high-power maps, though at this point I am starting to think balancing for high-power is a futile effort). ;) So far, I haven't been able to find a good use for the super transport in a multiplayer ga...

Re: The Nexus super flame artillery
The NEXUS plasma artillery is only available through debug mode, and cannot be built any other way. However, I believe the model is reused for the plasma cannon, which isn't classified as artillery but still a very powerful weapon. Just ask Black Project.

Re: Warzone's power system
Maybe I'm not fit to participate in this discussion but I feel the need to voice my opinion. I honestly prefer the current, two-stage power flow system, and not just because I'm used to it. While playing I have to spend my power on many things at once, and unless the game is dragged out REALLY long ...

Re: I hate ripples
Honestly, ripples (and any form of artillery) can be quite easily countered on a high-quality, well-balanced map (i.e. anything but NTW). :stare: Okay, so NTW is THE most popular way to play, but nonetheless artillery still has a counter- VTOLs . If you're playing no VTOL games, then you've just eli...
