I've found it hard to dry up my power when it's got just 8 derricks supplying it O_o you need to macro a lot more, unless you have over 30 oil derricks you should not have any problem spending your money I play low oil games, and tend to have high level power gens pretty soon, that's how. I've noticed friendly fire with artillery, but I've never noticed it from cannons and that (then again, the area of effect on a cannon is pathetic, so no surprise). Just spread your units out more, and use artillery first, and THEN send in the main assault force when the arty's done

the standard AI is very well known for being a cheating swine. Chief among them is what is basically the 'more power' cheat, that gives it an extra 1000 power instantly. I've watched it happen many times. Also, if you want your power up faster, make a point of researching the power generator tech

I have actually yet to see the new textures, cos the latest beta version of the game simply will not run a game whatsoever. It won't do campaign, skirmish or challenges, much to my annoyance Then again, it's a Beta, what dya expect

Actually figured it out. I left 4 units when the Beta base was destroyed. If I recycle those before the base is destroyed, I get the 16,000 credits. Sometimes I have no patience. ugh. It says to stop any tanks from escaping, and a red dot blinks. I go to the red dot, make sure no tanks drive off the map (never mind the enemy tanks driving past, since they weren't trying to drive off the map, so I could worry about them later) Those tanks driving past are the ones you're MEANT to...

i can not get through the first part of the mission. no matter how quick i am, every time i spot the lz the pickup takes away the tank carrying the artefakt. i reach the valley asap, go up the ramp ne. any clues? and, before anybody asks, yes i read the walkthru. maybe i didn't get the instructions...

I've had this happen before, 'cept I had a whole load of AA up so I didn't even see him. I think the tops of buildings don't collide with objects, which could explain why it was able to land INSIDE your factory rather than on top of it. I managed to bust the VTOL. Just get a Ripple rockets up, and a scattering of sensor towers around the map. Judging where the turret fired, the VTOL was towards the west (he was actually hiding on one of your cybrog factories, the cheeky bugger!)
