Re: Sensor Jammer
It would still stop artillery from being able to fire on units that are within the jammer's radius. You would also have no idea what type or how many units are travelling under the jammed area. This would allow for decoy tactics, as well as less time to prepare effectively for an attack since you wo...

Re: New Unit - The Bulldozer
Maybe a bulldozer/demolition function could be incorporated as the truck equivalent to the heavy repair turret. Maybe when you've researched all the construction rate technology, you could research a 'heavy truck' turret (well, with a better name :P ), which could have demolition capabilities for en...

Re: Source Jam
Hehe yeah, I wouldn't use it in-game - I just thought it'd be a fun concept to try out! Am also thinking it'd be pretty awesome as menu/lobby music

Re: Music by macuser
Does Garage band or Felt Tip not have the option to export each individual loop/track into separate audio clips? I could import those into FL & work with them.

Re: Source Jam
Thanks man!
Ok, not a massive adition length-wise, but the concept has evolved a fair bit:
- I've managed to mangle the Power Generator's 'hum' into a bass
- There's a breakdown...
- ...And some extra added evil
Feedback/comments/suggestions welcome

Re: Blast! - Music WIP by Olrox
@BlueMaxima: Lol yeah, the name fits perfectly well in context but if you imagine a Victorian English gentleman with a curly moustache and a monocle saying it because he just dropped his pipe, it does kinda make you snigger :P Though to be honest, I think anything the above imaginary man says would ...

Re: Blast! - Music WIP by Olrox
Again Olrox, good work! I think the guitar riff itself works, but the main problem I've found with FL Slayer is that it's just too percussive sounding. I've spent ages tyring to EQ it & using various other effecs to squeeze a good sound out of it, but I always end up unhappy with it! I think the sam...

Re: Music by macuser
Impressive. :) Sounds like the soundtrack to a war movie - it's very well finished! I'm a little busy for the next week or so, but at some point, would you be willing to let me get hold of the stems? I'd love to industrialise it :) ^ In terms of music for WZ, I think that 'industrial' feel is the on...

Re: Source Jam
Thanks Olrox! Yeah, I was listening to one of the songs Powzone posted here & saw that he'd used some samples of Nexus' voice & I thought "man, I could probably make an entire song out of WZ noises!". I also thought a mortar would make a pretty good kick-drum :P The obvious challenge is trying to ge...

Had a bit of a faff around with FL instead of studying this afternoon & thought I'd share a little taster

Re: New music
Unfortunately I don't have the source file for that song anymore - I made it on an older version of FL & lost the .flp file when I uninstalled it before installing the newer one. N00b. Learned the hard way! Just out of curiousity though, what would you have done (i.e. in terms of editing?) I'm still...

Re: New music
Thanks MaNGusT & Powzone!
MaNGusT - I like the filter-in you put on that, I might try playing around with that at some point. I think it might need to filter in a little quicker, but otherwise I think it works well

Re: Blast! - Music WIP by Olrox
I gotta say Olrox, I'm impressed! It's a massive improvement on the last version & you're already getting a hell of a lot better with FL! Like the others said, It could do with being longer - Ken's suggestions all seem pretty sound to me :) Just based on the current version aswell, I think some kind...
