Re: The *NEW* Warzone walkthrough (Done with RED units)

No, I saved, closed, and started up again later. Doing it the hard way isn't really working well. And my defenses weren't exactly set up well to defend against the Collective's last stand, so that half hour of duking it out to get my requisite 40 units out is a pain in the rear end. I guess I'll hav...

Re: The *NEW* Warzone walkthrough (Done with RED units)

Actually figured it out. I left 4 units when the Beta base was destroyed. If I recycle those before the base is destroyed, I get the 16,000 credits. Sometimes I have no patience. ugh. That really shouldn't happen. You are supposed to start with 16K cash when Gamma1 starts (no matter what your BETA ...

Re: Help me out here, read for details!

Just an update, I'm up to 53rd. Even if you don't agree with my use of the video, I'd appreciate it if you'd support the entry for the message the song delivers.

Re: Help me out here, read for details!

Because I'm not... I'm not taking credit for the movie. I'm taking credit for my opinion of the movie. The contest asks contestants to pick their favorite video from YouTube. That's what I did. I picked a video and wrote a paragraph about why I think it is the best video on YouTube. It's not about w...

Re: Help me out here, read for details!

Well thanks anyway. I appreciated the second opinion. And I know the feeling, I hate getting credit for other people's work. But the one thing I hate more than that...

Is other people getting credit for MY work. And its happened all to often for my liking...

Re: Help me out here, read for details!

Well, hey, as it turns out, I'm perfectly in the right. I messaged the Brickfish company and asked them about the rules of play and they said I am perfectly within the rules to submit whatever video "I" think is the best video on YouTube. I'm not taking credit for the maker's work, merely ...

Re: Help me out here, read for details!

Thanks for that. I kind of guessed as much without the moral lecture. Hmm, just strikes me as odd because it seems that they would put it that way. I've seen plenty of other entries where it's obviously not their work. Hmm... I'll send in an email and ask Brickfish. Thanks for the second opinion.

Help me out here, read for details!

Hi, I'm a junior in high school and I'm going to be starting to apply for colleges next year. Anybody already in college, and juniors and seniors in high school know this feeling. I'm going to need cash, scholarships, everything I can get. So, I've submitted my favorite YouTube video to Brickfish in...

Re: New possible weaponidea

Actually, this weapon is really, really, really lame. In a real deployment anyway. First of all, unless the barrels are arrayed such that they angle outward, when firing (assuming it is as accurate as it claims, which I will cover in a second) the rounds will only cover an area equivalent to the siz...

Re: Forum Members Activity

I find this thread majorly "LoL". Like guciomir said... It's pretty normal for a forum to be like that. While I've seen a few forums where there really are a lot of members consistently active, for the most part, forums have a less than 25% active user rate... Or perhaps more accurately, a...

Re: Remove the maximum unit cost

Maybe a numerical power cost listing instead? It'd be much more "at a glance" than any bar could ever be.

Re: Sensor detection range on minimap

Definitely, it's nice to know what your sensor is seeing and what it isn't. Just a highlighted area, or maybe an illuminated area around the sensor, showing what it detects would be great.
