Also, the base of the building looks like it is floating on the terrain. Thats because of the lack of clear shadows at the base. - There is something on the left bottom side. I don't know what it is... Hehe, now that would be a challenge
I'm first going to finish recreating the original backdrops (done 3 out of 6 already), afterwards i might add some original work.
This one needs some more tweaking first!

I ve found myself some more time to work on the menu backgrounds and i ve come up with this. I don't really like the whole picture. It looks kinda like stuff thrown together. it's not really a big issue now is it ? Check the translation file in the trunk to see whats wrong with your language. I understand that when no translation has been given for a certain piece of original text, the game uses the english text instead. So maybe the one who has done the translation type...

This is why it is a bit easier to use blender, or 3DS, and then use the converter utilities. Like max and blender are easy to learn :) Pie Toaster seems like a great program. You normally should have eradicated that outpost in the previous mission. What I like to do in these missions is build defensive structures where the enemy transports land. 5 or 6 lancer bunkers are enough to kill all the landing troops.
