Having elevation restrictions on weapons just adds to the strategy of warfare. Then again so would an option to enable ammo limits. Even anti-tank missiles and rockets (with the exception of artillery) still is limited to LOS or having a spotter handy. Even in more futuristic combat how is a missile...

Unless designed to perform AA work I see no reason not to limit max elevation (with the exception of artillery). I think min/max elevation of the old M1 105mm cannon was.. -10/+20?

Best thing to do to gather info is to leave task manager running in the background and wait till you hit a slow down or severe lag then wait about 10-15 seconds and pause the game ten alt-tab out and see how things are running. Just don't forget to switch over to the performance tab before starting ...

Could lower the limit from 50 to 10 and increase the time between e-mails, or send 4000+ individual emails. Either way it wouldn't be that hard to change. I have used the mass mail only a handful of times and have not (yet) had any issues with it. There is no option to lower that limit...or increas...

So some touch functions are automatic and do not require a code change? Sounds interesting... Guess the touch orders are acting as left mouse clicks. Makes me wonder if a double touch can be added to bring up the game menu to allow for exiting. Not so sure about the rotate though...

That is assuming that the WZ netcode is client-server and not peer-peer as the retail release was.

Mines have been around since pre source release. I think they made it into the old 1.12 update but not entirely sure.. a code change for them would probably work out better in the end than a purely scripted even as has been done in the past. If you need an idea on how they were done in another game ...

Not sure if I get the correct meaning, but it would not affect the base code numbering only what is displayed on the screen.

It may be an issue with the terrain rendering. I have seen problems like that before. They usually only crop up when you use higher levels of AA. Something about how the tiles do not line up properly and it affects how the textures are rendered. Never run across it myself, but I have seen screeshots...

Would be easier to display those positions as std numbers rather than code numbers. numbers in the code start at 0, so this is how it gets displayed. Rather the code could probably be adapted to start at code + 1, or something that most people are more used to.

Making certain weapons obsolete would work best. Also balancing earch weapon line would work wonders as well. Its not so much that there is too many choices, just too many dumb choices and some of those choices just never get a chance (in skirmish/multi) to make much difference. Just look at the tec...
