Re: How a 13 year old plays Warzone 2100
I remember how a 13 year old plays WZ. You play confused and unsure what the little icons mean in the design screen You play not knowing the sensor radius of sensors. Skirmish is non-existent You believe the latest research is always best. Go Go super slow Track heavy bodies! Squishing people is rea...

Warzone cyborgs VS. Fallout power armor
This thread was by my questioning, what would be better in the battlefield; Using the synaptic link technology in cyborgs that transmits consciousness into a robotic body, or being in a suit? In the Warzone campaign, it was said that battlefield suits were made and done, but those were ineffective. ...

Toejam & Earl on Kickstarter
Here comes the funk! Did you grow up as a kid playing Sega? Maybe you've heard of Tj&E? These two awesome aliens of the funky world are coming again, and this time, things are going to be closer to how the original game was. Toejam & Earl link Warzone has always had a special place in my heart, and ...

Re: The parts
That's correct. Edit; I should have also mentioned that while the game's initial release included multiplayer, back then the parts were limited. Fastforward to the present day, and now multiplayer contains everything from the campaign and more. To be concise, multiplayer now has all campaign parts, ...

Re: More correct space utilization in transport
As far as speed goes, and I am no expert, but I think it's hard coded into the game. it is strange though that the campaign can carry 10 tanks...thing probably has a luxury pool inside it, too.

Re: The parts
If I recall, the multiplayer years ago only included the Tier One items, the most basic components. But yes, the Mantis is one of the parts in the campaign. I personally won't say any of their origins expect that most of the stuff is from the campaign, as they may contain spoilers. Some things such ...

I must confess that your meaning of Very little knowledge is required may be different than my vocabulary :lol2: May I insist that I have a push-or better yet, a shove in the right direction? I'm a bit confused when it comes to where to start. Specifically, what do I download? I need to emphasize th...

Re: Controlling multiple players
In warzone it is possible to order combat units to fire on friendly units by holding down the "alt" key, so you can effectively set two of your units duelling each other. You can't test some stuff that way, eg. incendiary area damage. Also a player may wish to test the difference in research data a...

Re: All you need is Assault Guns and Pulse Lasers?
It's funny how the Bunker Buster is the only one of it's category. Though to be fair, All Rounder weapons do pretty good damage to walls, and buildings. I suppose we could say that the Gauss Cannon supplements as a T3 version of the Bunker Buster.

Re: The official --=jscam=-- thread
The jscam project could use your help! While being a complicated project with a barely visible instant effect, in fact, very little knowledge is required to be helpful. I'm there! Bad news, I know next to nothing. If I could have things explained to me as if I were a 5 years old, then I think I'd b...

Re: Commanders and enhanced groups. Real stuff.
6% dodginess I don't think that word means what you think it means. I think what our dear friend means to say is that tanks can to barrel rolls %6 of the time. Though, when a commander levels up, then those benefets go across the whole group. so a handful of units could have %20 in speed, evasion, ...

Re: Units under a commander
Also note, that you can attach artillery to a sensor tank, and this unit will rack up the kills that the artillery tanks destroy. You can then recycle your sensor into a commander when it's experience reaches acceptable levels.
