Re: account manually disabled?
Assuming you can still access the email address you used to register the account, you should receive an email with instructions on how to reactivate it. If you no longer have access to that email address, then you will need to register a new account (as we have no other way of verifying it is your a...

Re: config files
I had 4.2.6 and 4.3.4 with windows 10 and still had them after I upgraded to windows 11 and neither worked anymore, then I uninstalled 4.2.6 and 4.3.4 and re-downloaded and reinstalled 4.2.6 and 4.3.5 (not 4.3.4) both in the 32-bit format since the 64-bit versions didnt work with windows 11. How ca...

Re: config files
Can you please compress (ex. zip up) the 4GB config file from 4.2.6, and upload it somewhere where I can access it? I'd like to examine the contents (and hopefully it's highly compressible) - you can PM me a link. You mentioned 4.2.6 and 4.3.4 (and then later 4.2.6 and 4.3.5). Have you tried the 64-...

Re: Vulkan failing to initialize
Thank you for the very detailed report.
I've opened a PR with a small patch that will (hopefully) resolve this: https://github.com/Warzone2100/warzone2100/pull/3351
(The patch is based on the current master branch, but you should be able to relatively easily apply it to 4.3.5.)

Re: Is a keyboard needed
While the game does not currently support being played with a controller, and - at least for online competitive multiplayer - people tend to utilize lots of keyboard shortcuts for speed & efficiency, it is indeed possible to play the game with just a mouse / pointing device. Especially if you st...

Re: Other problems with 4.0.0 +
now admittedly I'm still running an old master build from feb of 2018 and I'm running the old balance mod from before it got integrated into the game as the current version no longer works on XP but its not to difficult to update the values in the mod to match what the game is using now. Unfortunat...

Re: 4.3.1 crashes in main menu
1. Which graphics backend are you using? (OpenGL? Vulkan?) 2. Are you using “Windowed”, “Fullscreen” or “Desktop Full” mode? 3. Are you clicking anything or navigating the menus or interacting with WZ in any way before the crash? 4. Where did you download the build from (and if from the website, whi...

What OS are you running WZ on? Run the game while specifying the command-line option: --debug=net Click on "Options" in the main menu, and then click the small "Open Configuration Directory" link in the bottom-left. Keep this window to the configuration directory open. Then start...

Re: Moderator approval is too slow
New accounts require additional manual approvals, to prevent spam & bots (which are a significant issue).
For a volunteer-run open source project, I think a one day turnaround is fairly reasonable.

Hi Alex! Welcome back - super excited to see you around! For all that you did with the original development (and open sourcing): I can't thank you enough. Not only would it (obviously) not exist without you, but it probably wouldn't be thriving like it is today without the efforts to help it cross t...
