Re: First model

Re: You don't care about Windows
For the rest: Who do you think you are? I installed WinXP and friggin' WinVista just to for you darn griping Windows fanboys (non-griping Windows users not included). I didn't do that to lash myself, but to ensure that your binaries do actually work. There were probably a few occasions where Window...

You don't care about Windows
split from "MSVC vs. others" Although the app is plenty fast enough as it is (makes sense considering the age), it is only taking up 14.46% of the cpu time over both my cores (double that to about 29% for a single core). On slower computers (more along the lines of when this game was re...

-(destroyable-/repairable-) Bridges could be added The bridge is disabled in code, not sure how hard will it be to re-enable it. -New design method: not very feasible because of the order of components in 'template creation'. -Cyborgs now able to garisson, 10 slots in big flats, 3 in houses, one slo...

This doesn't work for me :( I can get the url in the browser but not the terminal application to connect - thus no install/download anyway around this? you can use rapidsvn if you are not convenient with the commandline svn, just search for it in synaptic tools or do a aptitude search in console and...

Re: ERROR - MiniDumpWriteDump@28 blah blah on first run
That error message means you have outdated version of dbghelp.dll, just grab a new one from newer version of msvc or from microsoft site and copy it to your warzone exe folder or registered system path.

Re: * O' Watermelon * Where Art Thou ?
Dont worry, I am still around. I am kinda winded up with working on wz code, not because of the flaks and shyts that come from nowhere, but the slow and chaotic development of WRP. For the irc log I read them some time ago,I did foresee that I wouldnt get any positive from WRP,so I simply ignore their...

Re: Compile guide for MSVC 2005
Hi all, Can anyone here provide with a compile guide for MSVC 2005. I have downloaded the source from http://download.gna.org/warzone/releases/2.0/warzone2100-2.0.8_rc1.tar.bz2 and the MSVC developer's package from http://download.gna.org/warzone/development/warzone-devpkg-msvc-latest.7z How do I c...

Re: WAY TOO SLOW 2.07 how i speed it up?
This makes no sense to me at all. Warzone was built on pre-200MHz machines, and designed to run on cards with less than 8MB of memory. You all have added shadows, and redesigned Warzone's internals to run on linux.. What could you have possibly done to cause it to run so slow? hardware mode only...

Re: WAY TOO SLOW 2.07 how i speed it up?
1.disable shadows via the commandline option or via in-game alt+S combo 2.reduce color depth(called 'bpp') to 16bit via 'config' file(plain text open it with text editor) in my documents\warzone2100\ 3.change fog mode 4.lower resolution 5.get a better agp card from your friends(you are out of luck i...
