Re: 3.3.0 (beta) Campaign issues
I'm playing through the campaign for the first time in a while and there's one thing I'm finding a little infuriating. I don't know if it's a new "feature" since I'm playing somewhat differently from when I first went through the campaign (3.1.5 ish). I'm playing the last alpha mission and...

Re: MP Testing for the next release (3.3.0) needed!
So playing a skirmish game with master version 6e805bd the AI I was testing was able to build 6 sattelite uplink centres (I ended the game before it could build more) and I was unable to access the set structure limits page (it just displayed as blank page with no buildings listed). edit: my bad, wh...

Re: Help needed testing 3.2.x Campaign games!
I wasn't suggesting that it not respond. What I was suggesting was that it scout in the direction of the incomming fire. (DORDER_SCOUT vs DORDER_ATTACK). I think the AI should respond to an attack and that the response should be to scout towards the attack. By scouting to a point halfway in between ...

Re: Help needed testing 3.2.x Campaign games!
My idea is to enumerate around the victim's position so many X tiles and create a new group dynamically, via eventAttacked, with droids that do not already belong to a group (think of those nine Alpha 12 tracked cannons near the LZ that do nothing, and then say you hit them with a mortar and then a...

Re: A terrible idea that involves SQL.
It would be nice to be able to simply call up current stats for a weapon taking into account completed damage and rof research. It would give an easy way to rank weapons based on current damage output. Within a given weapon family later is usually better, but current expected damage would be a nice ...

... in master, which appears to have a few new goodies as well (e.g. sendAllianceRequest()). Nevertheless an AI running in 3.2.3 will still produce legs if it tries to make cyborg engineers or cyborg mechanics. I am looking forward to the next release and taking advantage of those fixes.

Re: (AI) darkBot: an ecm using (and susceptible) AI
I've dropped a few of patches to the NullBot master on github. They're pretty much all performance related and I think I found where the phantom legs come from.Hey, feel free to backport any useful changes that aren't related to your AI's unique personality to the base game's NullBot if you like.

Re: (AI) darkBot: an ecm using (and susceptible) AI
I like it. It puts up a good fight. Thanks, glad to here it. Find some error's on WZ AI T Thanks for that, I'd gotten the info from the main page closer to when it happened and think I've fixed it. It was an issue with how the AI picked VTOL targets and it was overly optimistic about the enemies fa...

Re: About pathfinding in JS API
Related to the path finding it would be good if there was a function that would return how much distance a unit would actually travel (given a particular propulsion) between points a and b accounting for impassable terrain between them and maybe returning a set of way points for the route as well.

Re: Warzone2100 AI Tournament
This looks great! Would it be feasible to add which sub-personality each AI is using to the output? I did most of my testing on just a few maps so it's really good to see the AI's put through their paces on the variety of maps that you are using. It's allowed me to identify a few issues that I might...

(AI) darkBot: an ecm using (and susceptible) AI
This AI began life as an attempt to get NullBot to use ecm turrets and towers. Getting the AI to use ECM was trivial, but for it have an effect was not. NullBot uses the deity cheat for its adaptation and for its targeting. So for ECM to be effective I needed to change the way it selects a target. T...

Re: Windows 10 warzone 2100 Mods gehe nicht
Ok, so I went and reinstalled warzone 2100 on my windows machine to see if I could solve the problem (I usually play on a Ubuntu installation so no data was lost). {the tl:dr version is change the shortcut link from --mod_mp nuke_duo.wz to --mod_mp=nuke_duo.wz} the destination folder for programme i...

Re: Windows 10 warzone 2100 Mods gehe nicht
Ich hoffe das Sie lesen Englisch besser als ich lese Deutsch. Look for the warzone folder in your "Documents" folder (~Users\user\Documents\Warzone 2100 3.2) and if there isn't a "mods" folder in there create one and then put the mods that you want to run into it (~Users\user\Doc...

Re: Release 3.2.3 is out
I use Ubuntu 16.04 and it compiled on my system with out any issues. I'd suggest installing synaptic package manager (you can find it in the abomination that is this version of ubuntus software center). Synaptic package manager is a nicer gui for dealing with package installation and using it you ca...

Re: I Tried Reinstalling Warzone 2100 But!
So I recently upgraded my Ubuntu installation to 16.04 which meant that I had to reinstall everything (not unexpectedly). I did not try to install warzone from the software center since that is the older version 3.1.1 or so and teh current version is 3.2.1 (or you could try the master version, I gue...
