Re: Is guide up to date?

This guide is automatically built from the json files of the game. I picked up a copy of this manual with data from version 3.3.0 on my own: https://warzone2100.pro/wz2100-database-project/ But he is only in Russian. Multilingualism was added very strange and I could not activate it. Source code of ...

Re: Unable to host a game: connection timed out on Warzone

When ipv6 is turned on, the connection time to the lobby becomes indecently large. But the connection is still happening.

Re: Cannot install on Linux Mint 19/19.2

Use

Code: Select all

sudo snap install warzone2100
or describe in more detail at what stage of compilation errors and text errors occur.
You do not need to install sdl from third-party software, the necessary version is already in the distribution

Re: Yet Another Spectator Mod (now for 3.1+ too!)

@Emperor
1) use a map with a slot for the observer. (you can download them here: https://wz2100.euphobos.ru/maps/)
2) put the mod in mods/autoload. (when the mod is on, it is written in the upper left corner)
3) create a room and occupy the observer slot.

Re: rules.js

The goal of the fog of war is to hide the actions of the enemy, and not to entangle the player in the map. The landscape at the start of the game is immediately visible. Why should the location of the oil towers be a secret? The player playing the map for the first time will look like a blind kitten...

Re: rules.js

The hint is designed to make it easier for players to master the low-oil mode. Despite the fact that I made a jungle map and played a lot of games on it, I can still forget about some of the oils. What to say about the players who see the map for the first time .... This also applies to friend low o...

Good afternoon. For the past month, I have been doing a bit of adding some features to the game initialization script. https://github.com/vaut/wz-spec-mod From features made: - adding greetings with the settings. - hint to players where the oil towers are located https://i.imgur.com/IyBAZvl.jpg - ex...

Re: FKmod 0.1.0-beta

1) why everything is based on 3.2.3? in 3.3.0 there were a lot of bug fixes. From what I immediately recall: the work of mods, accelerated the transfer of maps and mods, fixed the transfer of units (desinks) and bug fixes not applying improvements. Could do rebase to master or 3.3.0 before release. ...

mini tournament

Good day. I plan to start a big international tournament in a month. But since I held past tournaments only among Russian-speaking players, I need a test of my strength. Therefore, I want to hold a small tournament before a serious one. The format of the tournament is Olympic (elimination games). BO...

Re: Linux Mint 19.2 Cinnamon compile error

You need to remove the added lines from
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/official-package-repositories.list
and remove file
/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/00local

You should already have SDL ≥ 2.0.5 in the official repositories. You do not need to connect third-party PPA.

Re: Linux Mint 19.2 Cinnamon compile error

You can describe in more detail exactly what actions you performed and attach logs with errors.
If you still have the full action logs.

You did not connect third-party PPA?

For beginner modders

Good day. Unfortunately, many novice moderators make annoying mistakes when modding. For this, I want to recall a few things. - Try not to use map-mod. The mod installed by the host in the `mods/autoload` will work for everyone. Map-mod is needed only if the modification is connected to the map and ...

Re: How do you beat rocket+mgs?

This is not a silver bullet. Light bodies suffer greatly from splash and machine guns. For all studies in this mix, noticeably more than 5 laboratories are required. As a result, you have to give up bullets or get weak rockets. According to etum, a person can defeat this mix in the following ways on...
