Re: It's beeen a long time since I tried this...

So I shouldn't need to fear, say, New Paradigm having additional spawn spots in Alpha-6, or NEXUS SAM's knowing not to fire at the scrub-VTOL I send in front of my heavy bombers? (Or things like that). Also, why was between-stage saving removed? Any idea? Also also, what do you mean "new fire distr...

Re: It's beeen a long time since I tried this...

2.1 was so long ago that I don't remember all the important changes. I can remember these: - the mechanics of hitting have changed, and now projectiles will not fly through the ground during any events - changed the pathfinding, these changes were necessary for the new network code. Unfortunately, t...

Re: Autohoster / autorating duels

The problem is the need for an outside arbiter of the meeting. The host can prevent the game from determining the winner, or disable an opponent. I see no way to defend against dishonest hosts. It is impossible to determine the rating on such data. One of the possible integration of the rating into ...

Re: Autohoster / autorating duels

The limitation to one host on one IP is caused by the client and the lobby. The player simply will not be able to connect to a port other than 2100. Max partially unlinked graphics. We still need to initialize OpenGL to run, but the battle itself is not rendered. If someone does a completely headles...

Re: Autohoster / autorating duels

Write what other reports on games to add.

If you have a completely unused computer with white (public) IP, linux and video card, you can donate it for additional hosts.
Unfortunately, one IP can currently only host one game host ...

Re: Link for Steam on Warzone 2100 homepage

Someone made the game available on Steam. And I would hate to see them take credit for all of our community's hard work testing, modifying, and continuing to develop the game. Does anyone know if this was approved in any way by the community? Unfortunately, that basically appears to be what has hap...

2. Can we have a T0 level like the campaign starts out with? I think this was how the old T1 used to work.
T1 without base -- minimum start tech
T1 with base -- ~4.5 minute game, after Power Module
T1 with advanced base -- ~8m, after Mortar and Repair Facility

Re: Release 3.4.0

The host, if desired, can easily add a mod with a change in balance. But no one is in a hurry to do this ... As the author of changes in research, I want to repeat the reasons for the rebalas of technology. Technologies at startup with a base or advanced base are shifted relative to starting without...

Re: Release 3.4.0

Good afternoon, I am happy about the new release and am grateful to the rest who had a hand in its release. But I really, really don't like the lobby access policy. 1. There is no way to simply check a specific build 2. It is not possible to shake antiquity and play in 3.1.5, 2.3.9 or remember the h...

Now it is available in mod:

These changes were prepared for inclusion in the next release, but the verification and revision of the changes are still ongoing.

The only research required for the machine-gun turret is the first bullets.
But still built HQ is required
