Thanks for the replies.  In the end, it was a combination of first hitting the Esc key, then clicking the green icon in the center of the menu.

I haven't been able to get ANY of the cheats to work.  Do you no longer need to add -- mod grim.wz to cheat?  I added that to my shortcut after installing the beta and Ctrl-Shift-Backspace doesn't seem to do anything other than reset game speed. Great job on the Beta.  I like the new graphics on the menus and the ability to run as a Window now. One thing of note though, I added "--mod grim.wz" like in the past to enable cheats.  Then executed Ctrl-Shift-Backspace in the game to use the time toggle cheat and it doesn't seem to work...
